Pro Shop
Although the course was nice they had little merchandise. Especially woman’s cloths. I like to buy logo shirts but they had about 10 to choose from. Pace of play was frustrating. Got caught between two group events. All men and they where slow! Beautiful course, lots of history. Play early is my advice.
Great Track
Nice course layout. Challenge for both really good players and fun for the novice golfer. I would play again.
Golf T Asheville
This is a good Donald Ross course, well maintained, compact layout and fun. Limited practice facilities to warm up, poor putting green could do with some help.
Wonderful experience.
First time, it was great. Booked through GolfNow at a great rate. Be aware that GolfNow can have your tee time adjusted an 30 minutes either way, so arrive early.
Course was in great shape. A challenge on every hole.
Wow !
Not sure I would pay full price , but got a great rate on Golf Now and Wow. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic conditions and layout to this course ! Awesome golf experience overall. Will try to make this an annual event !
Omni Grove Park worth it.
The Omni Grove Park golf course is one of the best conditioned in the area. Any Donal Ross course is great but this really is worth playing. Pricing is high but the course is a great layout and fun to play. They do have afternoon rates and you can play till 8:30 to 9:00 with no problem. Plenty of daylight.
Great Course, good people
Had regulars in the front and back playing, we’re super helpful and friendly. I think holes cold be marked better, and either the scorecard or cart should indicate more based off the price and course. Overall a great experience golfing. They take care of the greens very well and beautiful views of architecture and scenery.
Overall a good experience
Our first impressions were not so good as the starter was a little surly and didn’t provide much information as to the location of practice areas etc. As it was, practice area only consisted of a putting green and a single hitting cage.
The greens were impeccable and rolled really true. The fairways were in really nice shape also. Overall, a good value for the money.
Good Course But…
The starter/bag guy was not a good ambassador of the Grove Park Inn. He needs to know that many of the players have never played this course before and do not know that there isn’t a range etc.,, He didn’t explain clearly where to go and what to do. I expected more from A Grove Park Inn. That being said we enjoyed playing the course. It was beautiful and in good shape.
