Chapel Creek Plantation Villas

We had a very enjoyable day of golf. The course is in relatively good shape. The layout is challenging but not overwhelming. The greens are quite challenging. For the money this is a Special course. My group will be back soon.

Been wanting to play here for years and finally made it down with my son and it met if not exceeded my expectations. Aside from the standing water on a few holes due to recent rains the course was in great condition. Tee boxes and fairways all manicured nicely and the greens were especially in excellent shape. Some of the pin positions on this day were super challenging but that made it fun. We live just an hour away in Columbia but it felt like we were playing at a vacation destination type course. The pace of play was slow (it took us 4 and a half hours, we usually play 18 in three hours max) due to two or three groups ahead, so I guess it would have been nice to have a ranger keeping players moving along at a proper pace, but it was a Friday on a picture-perfect day so the course was busy, and I didn't mind being out there longer than usual because the course was so much fun to play. I will definitely be making the hour-long drive more often to play this course on a regular basis.

Always enjoy playing Santee. Course is in great condition. Only thing this time was the bunkers were not groomed and were packed / washed out from last rain. First time I saw that this year. Worth the drive from Columbia though.

The greens were great. Did not have a ball mark on them. Fairways was good. Wet in places.

Enjoyed playing this course. The weather was perfect, the course was in excellent condition. Greens were perfect. Will definitely play it again.

But the staff still honored our rate.

Course is fair for both beginners and mid handicap player. Will return on our next trip to the area.

Santee National is always in great shape. The greens are quick but true. This is is one of my favorite courses to play, I would highly recommend it.

Played in extreme heat today. Course was in great shape as usual. Heavy rain the night before so it was cart path only. Definitely recommend playing.

Course is in great shape right now. The heat may be keeping players away because there should have been alot more out there. Bring some bug spray but don't let the nats distract you from a great day.
