The Chapel Creek Plantation is home to 12 villas located on the first fairway of the Santee National Golf Club. Each villa is decorated with a Southern architectural theme that includes two bedrooms (4 total beds), two baths, laundry and a kitchen. Its golf packages with golfsantee.com can be customized to include breakfast at Clark's Restaurant or the Quality Inn & Suites. Santee National dates to 1989 and challenges players with rolling hills, mossy oaks, 40 bunkers and five water hazards. It is one of several courses available in area golf packages.Facts

COURSE IN GREAT SHAPE BUT THE GREENS ARE BARE & LIKE PUTTING ON CONCRETE
Very enjoyable course.
Course is in great shape with large fast greens that rolled true. Unfortunately we had two foursomes ahead of us that appeared to be friends playing against each other and they were slow, slow slow. Made for a long day. I certainly would recommend playing this course if in the area. It's a 1 1/2 hour drive from Newberry but I'll be back.

Definitely a worthwhile drive
Coming down from the Columbia area, I've played this course a few times and enjoyed it each time. The greens are fantastic and roll true. The fairways and tee boxes are in great shape. If you're in the area or even if you're not, it's worth your time.

Great Course!
This was our 1st time playing the course. Found it challenging, but fun. Greens were fast. My husband and I had a great day on the course and will definitely return!!!

Great Day of Golf
My bud and I really enjoyed the entire experience. The course (fairways and greens) is truly in great condition. We drive a hour to reach the track and play it 7-8 times throughout the year. The course has yet to disappoint! Anytime you're coming to the Santee area you need to give this track a try.

Great Course
We really enjoyed the day. The course was challenging but not to hard for the average player. Long beautiful layouts in a very pretty area. Loved it! Will play again ASAP

Spectacular
This course is the the best in town. The fairways are full pf lush green grass and the green are even thicker. No patches at all. Front nine plays much easier than the back. Greens tend to run straight and slow without much break, but are overall in great shape. Best deal in the state for such a quality course.

5 1/2 hr round
Nice course In good condition. Overseeded so the fairways and greens were in good shape. Greens really slow like the pace of play. 5 1/2 hours is pretty Brutal.
