Love this course
A great value for the money! Even though there has been a tremendous amount of rain lately, the course was still very well maintained and didn’t affect game play much at all. There are many courses in the lowcountry that cost $100 or more for the same amount of fun you can have at Santee National. Well worth it in my opinion!
Well conditioned
Course was in great condition particularly the fairways which give you almost a perfect lie every time. Bunkers were great and the greens were very smooth but just weren’t at their usual speed following the aeration a few weeks ago. They will probably verticut them soon to speed them up.
A Great experience!
Great Course
The overall course was in great shape starting from the tee box, the fairways and the greens. Only 1 hole had to be modified due to TS Debby.
I would play this course every time I am in Santee and will recommend it to my family and friends.
Great Course!
Very good course
Stopped by while passing through. Great value for the money and course was in great shape. Greens had recently be aerated which made it partially like a plinko board but overall, course was really well maintained. The gnats are annoying but that’s SC- thank god they don’t bite .
Fun track, nicely maintained. I gave 4 stars for conditions because there were lots of gnats. They weren't the bitey kind, but annoying.
Beautiful Course
Green’s keeper is amazing at his job. Layout is solid. Some parts of the cart paths are in need of repair, but everything else is phenomenal.
Hot and Thirsty
Although the course and it’s conditions were great (especially for the money), there was no water on the course.
Best in the area.
From tee box to greens the course is in amazing shape. Par threes can range between 135 yards to 205 yards. Front is fairly open and back is a bright tighter. The course is fair to you as long as you keep it in the short grass. I'm a 24 hdc and shot an 87 the other day! Love this course!
Friendly staff and great course. Pace of play was great today!
Staff was extremely friendly. Pace of play was great today. Food at snack shop onsite was delicious.
Improved conditions
The course has always been in pretty decent shape but they have done a really good job in the past few months getting it ready for the summer season. The bunkers were in excellent shape. It appears they had a recent renovation and it’s paid off. Tees and fairways were in really good condition. Greens were in good shape. They had verti-cut that morning but they still rolled well. It is worth the little extra drive from Charleston. Excellent value for the price since you can’t touch anything around Charleston for less than $60 anymore.
