Be careful.
I paid $33.50 though golfnow. Once i got there, i paid $15 more. Because the cart fee did not include on green fee. Dont trust golfnow price. Anyway you need to pay extra or walk.
Great course
Visiting the area from Ohio and couldn’t pass up the chance to play here. Course was in great shape and pace of play was spot on. Can’t say enough about course conditions...tee boxes were all well maintained and greens were fast but true. Not an overly challenging course but a few holes will definitely test you. Overall this was a great course and a fun round.
One of the best GC around Greenville...
Very good conditions with great facilities, super layout. We were disappointed only about the groups and pace managing. Singles guys and everything between.. walking or not just a slow pace.
This course has an amazing layout
Course very well taken care of, great staff very friendly and out going
Beautiful course!
The course was one of the best courses I've played on. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were smooth and quick, but very nice. The course had a great variety of different hole layouts and amazing views. Only drawback was that it had a good bit of hills and valleys on the back nine, but it was a welcomed challenge. Could use at least one more water station per 9.
Great setup extremely poor pace of play
Took 5 hours and 40 minutes to play 18 holes! That’s a crazy long time. They had a ladies outing that was pushing everything back. But unfortunately the starter wasn’t helping. They also didn’t have any staff members on the course helping to speed things up. It was way too long to play. It was a shame because the course was a good course. I enjoyed playing it when I wasn’t standing around waiting to hit.
Walker Course
Course was extremely wet due to recent rains and it was cart path only. Played as a single, after playing thru one foursome I finished in 3 1/2 hours. Greens were in excellent shape, staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Beautiful layout
Love the layout of the course. Challenging with many bunker s guarding the nice and big greens. Roll very true even for this time of year.
Great staff
Girls at Grill fantastic and friendly. Cart Girl Haley work to get everyone happy.
Wide Open Course Temps in the Mid 40s
As I've played a number of college courses, I wanted to play the Clemson University Walker Course over my winter break. I could not book a tee time more than 7 days in advance without staying on-site, so I used Golf Now instead.
I was pleased that the course was open given the amount of rain this Fall/Winter and in the days prior to my round, and happy that it was "cold" when I arrived to play as the course was empty. I only regret -- and was told later that I should have been informed by the Pro Shop by guys in the Pro Shop, ugh -- not taking a cart for the back 9. The walk on the back 9 was brutal (especially between 12 tee and 14 tee and 15 green to 16 fairway), and it definitely cost me strokes.
Given the rain, the course was in great shape -- cart path only signs did not impact me -- and despite "winter hole locations" the greens were in very good shape. The ball rolled well on the greens and the fairways were comparable to what I usually play in December on the RTJ Trail in Alabama (my usual destination).
I shot 40-45, but messed up on the 1st, 16th, and 18th holes to wreck a shot at going sub-80 in the final round of the year and before the new Rules go into effect. Tee shots on 9 and 18 are a little quirky for the first-time player, but the course was generally right in front of you and pleasant to play.
Never put a ball in a bunker during the 18 holes, so I cannot rate them, but they looked to be in decent shape given the conditions.
Great course if you haven’t played it
Although it had been raining, the course drained well. The layout is very nice including a lot of elevation changes. The greens were in great shape along with the fairways. Great views of Lake Hartwell.
Excellent Golf
This facility is always in impeccable condition no matter the season. I make sure it is on my itinerary whenever I'm in the area.
Fun Course, good layout, pretty views
I played the Walker a few weeks ago and the conditions were very different today. The course was VERY wet due to a lot of rain over the prior few days. Today was cart path only and this is NOT a good course for cart path only due to the cart paths being so far away from teh target areas of the fairways (holes #5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14). It is MUCH better to walk the course than to play cart path only while riding in a cart. Unfortunately we were not told it was cart path only until we checked in with the starter at the first tee.
I always like playing The Walker course. It has very nice practice facilities, nice carts and a great course layout. There is plenty of trouble if you are slightly off line. The back nine is totally different than the front nine. The front nine is in and out of trees and elevation changes. The back nine is all around Lake Hartwell with many great views of the lake.
Fun Course, Good Conditions - Be Carefule when using Golf Now

I purchased a round on Golf Now for $40 and when I got to the course I was told we each had to pay a $20.00 cart fee that is not part of Golf Now. I was surprised and annoyed that they try to put out a good deal on Golf Now then take your money to use a cart.
All in all, a great course. Just be careful when using Golf Now and be prepared to be annoyed at the club house when they charge everyone $20 for a cart.
Really fun course
Course was in great shape for middle of November. It is a very secenic course and a lot of fun holes. It’s challengoing without going overboard. I will definitely play again when I’m in the area again.
