Great views
Course was in super Condition.Staff was very courteous. Brought me a handicap flag when it was needed. Played 18 holes in a little over 4 hours with a lot of play.
Back side has great views of Lake Hartwell.
Great course, really fun to play
Drove up from Atlanta to play here with brother, boy am I glad we did. What a course! I'm no country club kid so this might have been the best conditions I have ever played on, not a blade if grass out of place. The layout was fantastic, a great mix of approach and tee shots. Greens were perfect, slower than I'd like but true and plenty challenging. Played on a weekday and moved along nicely until the 14th. Would have played another 18 if we had the daylight. We will def be back, one of my favorites.

Best golf course I have ever played. Would definitely come back
Course was in impeccable condition. If you miss a putt it's on you because their greens roll true. Thoroughly enjoyed our round. Cart girls are great too
Amazing
I drove a little over two hours to play this course and I got to say it was an amazing course. I took my son with me and our teatime was for 2:50, we got there about 35 minutes early and they let us go ahead and go when we were ready. Every part of the course was very well manicured and the greens were absolutely perfect. All in all it was four hours of driving to go play there and I am already planning a trip back in a few weeks that's how much I enjoyed it.
Nice course but too expensive
Well kept and very fun to play but too expensive for what you get compared to other courses.
Beautiful Facility
The course was in great shape. It had enough variety in the tees to make the course as easy or as challenging as you or anyone would want. I will definitely play again.
Beautiful views
Nice course. Greens were not what I would call fast. Punishes left Handers that fade just a tad too far down the left side. The ball rolls until it gets to the hazard. Nice holes, some challenging no nine has my number. Don't miss the Tiger Paw on 17. Very well maintained.
Beautiful and Fun
Course was in excellent shape and had some beautiful views of Lake Hartwell. The greens putted true but were much slower than other courses in the Up State. Play moved at a good pace but backed up on the final four holes but not bad for a Sunday afternoon. Well worth the drive from Greenville and worth the money.
Super layout
First time but I went back the next day. Loved the course and the people were real helpful. Great day! Great conditions
Great layout. Not too tight
We'll definitely be returning but gonna wait til it greens up. Fairways weren't over seeded but very soft. I absolutely love this golf course and would play there more often if it were a little cheaper
GREAT DAY
Staff excellent - liked the fact that Starter gave me (single female player) the option to join with 2 other Golf Now purchasers or head out before time alone.
Walker Course
WE arrived an hour and a half early hit balls and the starter was able to slide us in, no problems. Great staff, course was in great shape, greens running fast, couple of slow greens, but all in great shape. Look forward to spring/summer to be able to play course again
Pleasant surprise
I decided to drive three hours to play this course based upon its favorable ranking in a list of top college courses, and I must say it did not disappoint. I encountered something at this course that I haven't anywhere else: zoysia greens. And you would never have known the difference. Not quick and definitely not grainy, just true and highly consistent. The holes around Lake Hartwell are the star of this course. The par 3 17th gets most of the play due to the tiger paw green/bunker combo, but the toothy par-4 9th is the best hole on the course. Pick your poison off the tee. You can try to carry the creek and land in the second fairway, but miss short or left and you're laying three. Lay up off tee to avoid the trouble and you are facing a 200+-yard approach partially over a hazard. Would've been a fantastic 18th home. Excellent practice facility, but beware: if you are planning on playing on a Saturday during football season and the Tigers are at home, the driving range will be closed because they park cars on it for games. It is literally that close to campus and the stadium. Tip: after your round, visit the Esso Club for drinks and good. It is on campus wishing 2 miles of the course.
Read the fine print
Enjoyed the golf but not the price. GolfNow listed the fee at $35.xx. That is a reasonable amount for this course. However, this does not include a cart which is another $18. So with taxes and fees it was $60 per person. The course is not worth that amount. GolfNow should stop with the gimmicks and just list the 18 hole rate with a cart and I should read the fine print better.
Wow
Great course number 9 is a bear but par can be had. Last three are beautiful.
Wow! Agree with you on that extra cart fee. However the course is definitely worth $60.But I never paid that.
