Hickory Knob State Park

Second time playing here beautiful well maintained course. Will be back many more times.

Even though it was cart path only the course was beautiful and well maintained.

Any first-time play can be challenging because of unknowns. The greens are small, the elevation change can be significant on some holes, and blindspot‘s all contribute to the challenge of the course. The other reviews that I read talking about items needing repair our true as many of the cart path could use some serious work.

I like the course and appreciate that it wasn’t too long or too difficult. Liked the friendly staff and patrons. The drawbacks were the pace of play, poor drainage and inconsistent greens. But for what I paid, seemed completely reasonable. We did have tropical storm Eta come through recently.

The golf course is nice and very affordable. The cart paths are in need of repair.

If you are in the Augusta area and do not mind driving 30-45 minutes this course is hands down one of the best golfing experiences around. Good layout and has several picturesque holes that run along the lakeshore.

Greens are in transition and slow. Snack bar is closed but they have cold drinks and snacks at clubhouse.

I’ve been here a few times fun little golf course in good shape. Usually not very crowded and plays pretty quickly

Worgth the 45 minute drive from Augusta

Course is in great shape!! Be prepared to hit iron off The tee on a few holes.

Course is in very good condition. Greens were a little slower than expected. This is a very scenic course and a joy to play. It's an 80 minute drive for me but I'll be back.

This is a great place to play. The layout is challenging at times but fair. Wonderful views of the lake. The putting surfaces are in good shape but difficult to judge break and speed. Spend a little extra time on practice green beforehand. Very convenient location to Elijah Clark.

We travelled 1.5 hrs to play this course because we heard that it was a real good deal.

It was everything I had heard and more. The course is well kept and the natural beauty of the surrounding area was awesome.

We plan to play there again. I normally do feel a need to speak to the grounds keepers, but we found ourselves commending them for how well kept this State Park is.

The precautions taken due to COVID-19, made us feel good.

Greens are coming back from being aerated, so a little bumpy. The course overall is good.

Great spot that really challenges those who dare to try. Awesome view and well kept course. Friendly and professional staff. Only downside is the course gets busy quick.
