Hickory Knob State Park

Course if good shape. Greens ran at a decent speed. Pace of play was great. Enjoyed a day with family and friends. Would definitely go back.

Conditions of fairways and tees were excellent. Greens received well played shots. Putting speeds were about 8 to 10 on the stimpmeter. Greens have a lot of slope/undulations and putts are influenced greatly by the grain of the grass.

Total experience was great: Speed of play= 3.5 hr; conditions, and cost very positive.

Great value!! Beautiful layout with elevation changes and doglegs!

i hate to share this great review. I want more time on the course for myself. I drive 50 min one way to play this course twice a week and I live in Augusta which has plenty of golf. this is awesome

This course was challenging. It was in very good shape. The rough was super thick which made it a bit tougher. Not very crowded and that’s surprising for a Friday. Thoroughly enjoyed playing here. I am from Atlanta but will definitely have to play here again!

Ive played here many times and the course is in the best shape I’ve seen. Maybe some of the tee boxes need help and some bunkers need sand, but fairways and greens are great. Overall great value!

Worth the drive from Augusta.

Hickory Knob is probably in the best shape I have ever seen it. Fairways are plush, greens are. Great and putt true

What a beautiful course with a challenging tight and hilly layout with plush fairways, luscious greens and sifted bunkers. It was a beautiful day only surpassed by the natural beauty of Lake Thurmond and wildlife and plants and shrubs. The place is a hidden jewel and my brother and I have vowed to play it more often. The facility and carts were spotless and the staff was second to none and as we passed one of the grounds workers they shouted have a great day and enjoy your round and truly we did. See you soon

Great place to play and the course and greens are in excellent condition. Just watch your step (lots and lots of geese poo). I noticed that they were aerating the tee boxes but not the greens the day I played.

Beautiful course and a perfect day to play made our experience wonderful! I had to travel pretty far but wanted to play it and glad I did. I'll put this place on my favorites list.

Short golf course not real crowded and perfect place to place.

Great course and fun layout. Requires hitting shots left and right. Water in front of greens and no landing areas on fairways which require precise shots and course management. Be careful of leaving food in your cart while hitting range balls. Crows will get it out of the cubbie hole spots. Really funny but dead serious ha

Today was the best I have seen the golf course. Hats off to the ground crew for an excellent job. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this course.

Played here many times Course overall was in good shape. Got behind a 4 some that was slow as Christmas on the back and wouldn’t let us play through. The greens needed to be rolled. But the course management was rolling them when we got done.

After months of rain course is progressing nicely. Just starting to green up and they took down about 100 trees on the front to give fairways more sun. Beautiful location and a friendly staff.
