Speed of play
Pace was terrible. Granted that we went on a weekend but still the had groups of 6 and over booked only 6 mins apart on tee times. And there are multiple courses hard to maintain course conditions where roughy to say the least
Great senior trial
Two friends and I are seniors and first timers for Legends facility. Played the Moorland course on a Hot Deal and were a little concerned of the difficulty. But all and all from the green tees we found the course a good test and not impossible. Will definitely be back to play all the courses next spring.
Tough Greens
Course played: Moorland. Everything perfect except the pace of play (5h). Greens are spectacular and really difficult.
Cash collection area
Pace of play horrible..availability of courtesy shuttle to range was non existent....staff at bag drop seemed like they were there to collect $$$ vs helping
Pace of play beyond disgusting
Pace of play beyond disgusting. To add to the issue they sent 2 more foursomes off the back as we made the turn n blamed it on a website issue. Don't show up n expect to use the practice facility, they claim to offer a shuttle that was no where to be found.
Pace of play is horrible
Place is nothing but a money pit, 4 groups on tee box no course marshall in siye
Great. But….. late with our t-time then 5 hours to play.
Could have been a great day 1 1/2 hours to play last few holes 8 minute t-times are not enough for bad golfers who have no concept. They told us to go to #10 tee when actually we were on #1. Then had to wait twenty five minutes for three other groups making the turn which I think is the fault of the club thank you mark gofran
Clustered
I’m not sure what to say, the course layout was great, and in decent condition. The bunkers were destroyed. I don’t know if that was in part to rain or just general disrepair, but some had standing water, others had collapsed on the side, which for a Dye designed course, finding a bunker was inevitable. We arrived and our tee time had been pushed 15 minutes back because of the volume of people playing. We had to start on the back 9, which seemed weird because the starter said the front 9 was holding everything up. Skipping ahead didn’t make much since considering we didn’t tee off until 20 minutes after our tee time because of the back up on the 10th tee. Enjoyed the course minus the bunkers. Great layout. Made the turn and the snack shop had closed because it was slow. That also didn’t make since because the snack shop covers three courses and there were plenty of people trying the door to make purchases while we were there taking bathroom breaks.
Long story short, I like the course. Needs some bunker repair, but that may be due to recent weather. Wouldn’t come back due to the pace and general chaos, unless it were a slow day in the middle of the week or a 1st light tee time.
First time New Yorker here
Got there and as a a pre-booked solo I still had trouble getting grouped in. Had to start on the 11th tee. Never got back to the 10th to hit and complete the round since it was so busy and extremely slow pace with waiting at times throughout the course.
