On course ammenities
We were told there would be drink carts on the course. We only saw the cart twice and one time it was without ice. I tried to get drinks at the on course snack shack around 2 pm with a heat index over 100 and was rudely told it was closed. They would not allow my cooler but did a poor job and making sure there was adequate hydration imo. We literally waited at least 10 minutes on every hole on the front 9, Thankfully two groups ahead of us got frustrated and left, then play sped up a little.
Nice course and in great shape ! Friendly staff !
Course was in great shape. The only problem is not the golf course but Golf now when you hit directions! This is the second time it sent me to the wrong place ! Do not trust their map . Type address in your own maps !
Great course, Challenging course, Fun course
I have been here a few times and always had a great time. I am usually a solo and enjoy meeting new friends for a round of golf. Today it rained very hard with lightning, they evacuated course but then allowed restart after the sky’s cleared. Unfortunately 5 holes later the lightning came from another storm and we evacuated again. I could have waited but chose to call it a day after 12 holes. I didn’t ask for a 9 hole rain check because they did all they could to allow play. The course held the water very well so there were very few puddles areas.
I’ll be back. Also, lovely vies along the Waccamaw River.
Worth the money
I been wanting to play here and finally did. From the moment I checked in to the starter all were very friendly and helpful staff. The course play was very steady pace as they had cart girl and also ranger out to make sure have food and drinks plus pace of players on each hole was moving well. For the course lay out, very well maintained on the course. The course was very open for fairways and the par 3 were fun. The finishing holes is the main reason I wanted to play here. I definitely recommend and will play again.
Will Definitely Play This Course Again
Beautiful course, well maintained, definitely will play this course again!
Nice course overall
Enjoyed playing here again. Came last year when visiting and was happy to book again this year. Both Pine Hills and Palmetto are great courses. 18th hole on Palmetto is beautiful along the River.
Good greens
Nice course with really good greens. Didn't see any gators so seems safe.
Myrtlewood
I like the layout. Fair but challenging. This is a popular course and completely full when we played. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
Myrtlewood
My wife and I really liked the course. It was in excellent shape, and has superior practice facilities. We hope to come back and play here again.
Super Nice Course
Played front 9 of pine hills and course is in outstanding shape. Perfect tee boxes and greens. Sand traps are consistent and the course has plenty of challenges. Greens are moderate pace but predictable. The driving range and practice greens are in excellent shape as well. The pro shop is very nice and staff are very friendly. Didn’t try out the food so no feedback on that. Highly recommended to play
Nice value
Nice course with an interesting layout. Green speeds were consistent and held approach shots nicely. Early morning tee times at the Pinehills course are double teed on 1 and 10; finished the front 9 in 90 minutes and unfortunately had to wait 35 minutes to tee off on 10. This did give me the chance to sample the snack bar and the Stella and breakie sandwich were a nice consolation while waiting. Would play again.
Over priced can play other courses near by for half the price and conditions are just as good
The delays are excessive.
It’s a rather pricey place, but if they don’t manage the pace of play better, I honestly wouldn’t want to go back.
