Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa

Condition of greens was good, but tee boxes were a little rough and the course was a little dried out. Staff were friendly, amenities were good. Pace of play was pretty slow.

Considering the time of the year, fairways & rough need another few weeks to grow in…..greens were in excellent shape…..tee boxes were in good shape…….traps/bunkers were in very good shape…….staff were very courteous….course is challenging but fair with green side bunkers and plenty of water that comes into play

When booking this course I debated between Robbers Row and Barony at Port Royal. I reserved for a discounted fee of $75/person which at the time I was pleased with. . My decision was based on reading other reviews .

I thought the conditions were not very good. Fairways were very hard and not terribly grassy. Finally I just adjusted my game and hit clubs that were more suited for hard surfaces , irons, and not woods. The course layout was ok and the back nine probably prettier than the front 9 ( which had half of the holes along the road). Staff was extremely gracious and helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t get to hit balls as they were cleaning the driving range during the hour before our tee time.

I just feel there are too many other courses on Hilton Head than to repeat play at this course.

Overall good experience. Staff were excellent and course condition was good. Fairways were average and greens were very good. Felt price was on the high side for this course but it is Hilton Head in March.

This is a very nice layout, friendly staff and excellent greens. However, the fairways were very thin. If they want to say the grass is dormant and it’s early in the season, the price should reflect that. Price too high for conditions.

Lovely course, always in good condition. Great range and practice area, putting green perfect ( but the only flat green on the course ). Fairways coming along, still early season Bermuda but very playable.

Course was in pristine condition since it had not rained for several days. Fairways and greens were fast and challenging. Enjoyed the round! Course was crowded, but groups moved quickly.

Very friendly staff. Very playable course - tough greens!

Played in early March and the weather was good, high 70s. The off course areas were great . The grass tee driving range , practice chipping areas(2) , and also a putting green all well maintained. The course was crowded on a Sunday, but pace was good . Course covers a large area with quite the drive between holes . Being from Chicago this isn’t the case . Enjoyed the time there .
