Bent Creek Golf Village

Good golf option while in the Smokies! I would't drive a long distance to golf at Bent Creek. The back nine was r favorite and would be more fun the second time played.

The food was a bit over priced 9 dollars for a hotdog and a drink. The course played well. Would play again. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Score card have hints as to how and where to place shots.

great course will play it again when in gatinburg front 9 is flat back 9 hilling with some blind shots

The gnats were so bad on the entire course that concentrating on a shot.was impossible. Not an enjoyable day. Besides the gnats--this course has NO drinking water, NO ball washers, NO yard signage at the tees, and greens were in very poor condition. You will be better off to play elsewhere!

This course is very challenging and enjoyable until you reach the greens. It was like trying to putt on Velcro . They are in really bad shape. It has nice views and some fun holes. In retrospect we got what we paid for.

I wouldn't pay $10 to play this course the greens are horrible the course is covered in fruit flies due to all the duck feces and the food is way too expensive...If you are in the area do yourself a favor and play at Gatlinburg Golf course or Sevierville trust me Bent Creek is a rip off

This golf course could be beautiful and could be a nice golf course. However the greens were / are HORRIBLE!! Greens had been plugged / filled with sand / sprigs of grass growing throughout most all the greens. 2 hot dogs & 3 bottles of pop $23.50 WOW!! Food shack operator told us golfers were paying $16.00 for 18 holes and cart, I guess since we paid thru golf now we were not offered a cheaper price or informed of the plugging of greens. Bent Creek needs ALOT of work!! Best part I had fun out with my two sons on vacation!!

Course has not been maintained. Greens had crabgrass and holes. Will not play golf there again.

This was a nice course at first. The staff was friendly and everyone went out of their way to acknowledge your presence. That was nice. The course was in pretty good shape other than the greens. Some of them were pretty beat up: divots everywhere, dead grass patches, etc. There were also some very unforgiving misses since the creek basically runs through and along the whole course. This is not a problem as that has to do with my personal skill and not the course but I wouldn't recommend taking a friend that only plays about once a month along with you because it will not be enjoyable for them. I got the deal for 16 dollars a person through golf now and would defiantly play the course again for that price.

I've played there many times over the years. This was the last. Extremely slow play plus the back is just too difficult unless you have played there before.Took over 4 hours. Greens were terrible and so were the knats. They were everywhere. There are other more enjoyable places to play for the same price.

The course has great potential but right now its not but still fun to play. Greens are in bad shape on a third of the holes. The fairways are in good shape. There are several challenging holes. I was told they have a new greens keeper and new equipment. There is hope.

Pretty good course to get away from all the commercialism in the surrounding area nice views, good fairways and greens. The back nine is definetly worth the time. All in all a nice way to spend 4-5 hours not stuck in traffic.

I played this course several years ago and it wasn't bad. It has gone down considerably.
Almost ever green had down patches, the grass around the greens were cut at different levels. The sand traps had not been raked/fluffed in some time.
The mowing staff did a terrible job with weed eating and mowing.the cart paths are really bad.
Don't think I will spend my money on this course again.

We enjoyed our experience at Bent Creek. My wife and two young boys had a great trip . If we get back to Gatlinburg we would golf again

This course is a beautiful view all 18 holes but it had some downsides. The greens were in bad shape, grass clippings looked more like hay ready to be baled, and the cart paths are a mess. Also pack some bug spray. Preferably a lot. The bugs will eat you alive at Bent Creek. I'd also suggest putting away the driver on the back 9.

Friendly staff! We booked a 12:00 tee off time but due to crossing time zones and not knowing which of our clocks were correct, we arrived a half hour late and there was no problem putting us on the course. Course was in good shape-some greens had a little damage and some grass clippings in the rough should have been cleaned up but overall great value for the money. Great placement of tees to accommodate beginner golfers, like myself, intermediate golfers, like my husband, and experienced golfers, like the group behind us.

After reading several reviews of the course I had concerns about the knats and wetness of the course following rain storms. Neither was a problem. We did encounter a few knats on the 1st hole but none on the rest. We did have to be careful with our cart on a few of the front nine fairways but not any worse than we had encountered on some of the courses in VT and NH where we normally play. It has been a wet spring and early summer so it is to be expected. Overall, we had a great time. Lost several balls which is normal for us since this is our first year of playing golf. Other golfers were really friendly. Would play course again if we return to the area.

Great price! Should have known why. Course in very poor shape. Appeared that that the mowers were broke. Grass was very high including the greens. Geese were destroying the greens. Played this in previous years and it was in much better shape. My opinion is close the course or commit to upgrading the facility

The course was very challenging as always but the greens were very slow. Pace of play was slow with several fivesomes and even one sixsome out on the course. There were no marshals out through the entire round and it took two of us 4 1/2 hrs to complete. With a little better management this course could be a much better experience.
