Very nice course
This was a very pleasant experience. The course is well-maintained, the layout is fun, and the pace of play was perfect. We had almost no wait between shots. Will definitely be back.
Good Value
Played this course on a whim while traveling for work. Can’t say enough good things about the condition of the course from tee to green. Their grounds crew and super should be applauded. The word them kept coming to mind was lush. Greens were a little furry but you can’t really push bent in the summer in the south. You’d be hard pressed to find anything better for a $20 twilight round.
Retiree haven
The golf course is in great shape. However, the pace of play is excruciatingly slow. By playing partner and I finish the front nine in less than 2 hours. We ran into a log jam on number 10 with four groups on the whole. There was a group on the green, a group in the fairway, and two groups including hours waiting to tee off. It was like this the rest of the day. I had to skip three holes all the way up to number 18 just to finish on time to meet my family for dinner.
If you are thinking of playing this golf course I would highly suggest going out early in the morning when they first opened up or wait until the evening to try and avoid the crowds.

Nice course Great time
Course was in excellent condition. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful weather and enjoyable round. Highly recommend. Will definitely play again when in the area. Great value for your money.

Always a great round at lake Tansi
This is an old-school course it’s always in wonderful condition from the tee to the green, great fairways, solid, consistent greens. They let the rough get long enough so it penalizes you for missing the greens or Fairway just all in all a great course. The only negative would be the range is a short range, which means irons only.
Excellent shape
Teed off at four in perfect weather. Unable to finish because of slow play in front of us. Did get in 17. All parts of the course were excellent. Greens were fast and tricky as usual. All new pavement on cart paths. I love this course.
