The Lake Tansi Village Resort is actually home to four lakes (Tansi, Geronimo, Hiawatha and Mohawk) that provide guests and home owners an abundance of water activities. Guests stay in lakefront cabins and have access to the marina and its boat rentals, the beach, community events, the 6,701-yard public Lake Tansi course and two restaurants, the 19th hole at the golf course and the Lake Tansi Restaurant Bar and Grill.Facts

Played in 3 1/2 hours
I’ve complained about the 5 hour rounds before so it’s only fair to complement on Clark rounds
Pace of play was excellent

Book an early tee time or you can't complete the course!
Very disappointed that they sell you 18 holes knowing you can't finish it. Tee time was at 2:09. They started me late to accommodate a large group that decided to go eat instead of play golf. So I waited half an hour for NO ONE to tee off. At the posted pace of play of 4 hrs 15 min, we should have been able to play up to 6:34, but they have you return carts by 5:50. "That's just the way it is," I was told. So they take your money knowing you can't finish and don't offer even an apology. Nor do they enforce the pace of play. If they had, I would have finished way early. Otherwise, course was fantastic.

Rushed
Had a 9:30 tee time for two. They were running behind on the starting due to frost. The people with 8:30 tee times didn’t tee off until 9:30, we were forced to add an additional 2 because they said they were way behind tee times. We tee’d off at around 10, with 2 golfers that were of much higher skill level and myself and my wife. They were very nice but it was obvious we were a hindrance to them. Then the rangers kept coming by saying we were running behind (isn’t that your fault for scheduling too many tee times back to back and also starting late????). Anyway we only player 9 holes of the 18 we paid for because we were feeling pushed off. We’ll be back but we’ll try an afternoon tee time to see if it’s any better
fast greens
Well the greens are really fast n firm.....a fun play other then a miserable pace of play..........where s the range.....

Very friendly and professional, course is in great shape
Golf trip
This place is always in Great shape. I have been bringing 12-16 players here 2 times a year for over 25 years. We love it. The course is always in Great shape and the staff is always very friendly. Both restaurants are very good. We will be back in the spring. Thanks to the staff for what they do.
