Stratton Mountain Resort

About Stratton Mountain Resort
Although Stratton Mountain is a ski hub of 99 trails from the summit of southern Vermont's highest peak, summer brings the fun, too. A new bike mountain bike park has joined a lineup of summer activities including golf on a 27-hole championship course, the Cliff Drysdale Tennis program on New England’s only authentic red clay courts, hiking sections of the Long and Appalachian Trails, kayak tours, Kids Adventure Kamp and a series of events and live music. The Geoffrey Cornish-designed golf course hosted six LPGA Tour events.Facts

Mountain views and golf
Resort course (3 separate 9s). You can't go wrong with whichever 9s they .put you on. Conditions excellent. Hope to get back soon.
Stratton
Played the course on a Monday. It was uncrowded and the pace of play was excellent. The course was in good shape.
Stratton Mountain
The course had some beautiful views and was wonderfully maintained. The staff were very friendly and kind and went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. We will definitely be back.
Challenging course
This course is nice but very narrow, it is a little expensive. They have a putting green and range.
great value if you book on line
Really enjoy playing this course. The 3 nines are quite different: Lake-fairly flat and not too challenging. Mountain-hilly and more difficult. Forest - hilly and the most difficult of the three. Course in really good condition. Greens a little slower than I am used to.
Stratton
Over all great track nice challenging layout with some blind shots
Need to play it twice or have someone in the group who has or you will be looking for balls all day.
Could have used a cart girl for a drink and snack but it is what it is.
Also if you travel there plan on getting something to eat in another town because they got zip locally.
nice course but could have used a ranger as the pace of play was very slow even though the course posted recommended time ( 2 hr 15 min) to complete 1st round. Our group took over 5 hr playing ready golf waiting every hole. They allowed a group of 5 that helped to slow the day
Have played here last 4-5 years. Course always well maintained. Greens were extremely fast making putting a challenge. Everyone was very friendly.
A Mountain Gem
A must play for any golfer in the area. If you can forget about the cart paths and some bumpy fairways, Stratton is a beautiful course with so many incredible gardens of flowers and vistas. Three nine holes courses that all have a different view. Greens and tee boxes are in good shape and it’s a fair layout if you can hit the ball reasonably straight. Unlike many mountain corses the fairways aren’t hard as a rock in late summer. It’s a good test of golf and the pace of play is usually pretty good depending when you tee off. I have play most of the mountain courses in Vermont and Stratton is one of my favorites. The staff has always been very friendly.....
Mountain Golf - Beautiful Location
We enjoy Stratton Mountain because their 3 9-hole courses provide interesting variety and challenging mountain golf. Stratton has been in very good shape all summer long even with sometimes difficult wet weather conditions. Their staff are friendly and helpful. They have a lovely terrace for outdoor dining that overlooks the golf course, but they close rather early in the evening. We like each of their 9 hole courses: Mountain, Lake and Forest.
Lake forest mountain 27 holes
Great and very challenging courses .
Played in wonderful conditions and weather
Hope to play more when here
This is challenging but fair golf course. The conditions are quite good and the layout varies considerably from hole to hole. The fairways are reasonably wide and the rough is not deep. The greens are moderate, but not particularly fast. The views are spectacular and there is not traffic or road noise. It's a very enjoyable course for golfers of all handicaps.
First time at Stratton
Good course. Nice greens. A bit slow Typical mountain course. Hilly. Steams. Fun. Stay in fairways is very important. Here.
A Real Gem!!
A real gem from tee to green. Got great value from Golfnow. Staff was ultra friendly and super accommodating, first class treatment. Starter, Richard, provided some great tips on first tee that saved me some strokes and made for a great round. Playability and views throughout the day made for a memorable experience. Kudos Stratton for putting the shine on this Gem!!
