Stratton Mountain Resort

About Stratton Mountain Resort
Although Stratton Mountain is a ski hub of 99 trails from the summit of southern Vermont's highest peak, summer brings the fun, too. A new bike mountain bike park has joined a lineup of summer activities including golf on a 27-hole championship course, the Cliff Drysdale Tennis program on New England’s only authentic red clay courts, hiking sections of the Long and Appalachian Trails, kayak tours, Kids Adventure Kamp and a series of events and live music. The Geoffrey Cornish-designed golf course hosted six LPGA Tour events.Facts

Great Golf
Course in great condition. Very friendly staff. Golfnow.com provided good rate. Will definitely return.
Great Course
I enjoyed playing here with my friends, despite heavy rainfall. A very scenic course that offers a nice array of hole lengths and pin location.
Great three nine-hole courses @ Stratton, VT
Each of the three 9-hole courses is different venue with great scenery. The pro shop, bag people & pub personnel are top-notch. We will return to Stratton !!!
Buzzthebar
pricy course, but golfnow comes thru big time! a treat to play. quality sand traps as I found out a few times
Great afternoon for 9 holes
My wife and I walked the course which was empty. The course was in great shape and not long since we played the whites. We only played 9 holes because of time commitments, but I wished we could have done another 9. The price was incredible bang for the buck, even for just 9 holes.
great conditions & friendly staff
I love this course and the staff is super friendly. On the down side the other golf now guest were late could not hit a ball and had no clue as to the rules of golf. You should require guest to arrive 30 minutes before the assigned tee time and have a handicap before booking. the day was ruined by these inconsiderate people.
Very fun layout
I played mountain & lake. Great layout. Look forward to playing again.
Great Layout & Good Conditions
Challenging course with a variety of holes. Fairways in good condition. Greens bumpy due to aeration. Appeared as though aeration holes had not been filled with sand mixture so it is taking a long time for the holes to grow in. Young man handling check in was very accommodating. I will definitely play again when in the area.
Great place for a round of golf!
Beautiful surroundings, nice layout, well maintained course conditions, super friendly staff, and an excellent rate from Golf Now! Highly Recommended!
Nice day to be on the golf course.
Beautiful day! Leaves starting to change. Unfortunately, the mountain course was closed so the other courses were slow playing. Also, the greens had recently been aerated so putting was difficult. Conditions will probably be better in a few days.
Aeration
Too bad I wasn't told that one of the nines was just aerated. Greens were totally unputtable. Of the three nines one was closed and one was aerated. The course management should let guests know ahead of time.
Very sad!
Living on an old reputation
You can play this course using golf now for only $24 and you get about $24 worth of value. They simply do not put money back into the course unless it is beyond needed. The cart paths are bone jarring and I mean bone jarring. Much of the course is the same way as you bounce almost off the ground even going slowly. To save money there is often not even a starter. One virtually never sees a cart lady. They have begun to replace the rock traps, oops sand traps, several years ago and still have a large number that has not been touched. The staff is friendly and you get what you get for $24 but it's not quality golf in the slightest.
Course was in greate shape. Played 27 in 5 hours. Staff was very friendly. Everybody on course was very friendly and let me play through. Will deffently return
A perfect place for a great round of golf.
You can't beat the beauty and challenge of the Stratton Mountain Lake-Mountain-Forrest 27 hole complex. The staff is wonderful and the course conditions were perfect.
Great Vermont Course
Played Stratton for first time, drove about 1 hr 15 min from Lake George,NY area. . Played the Lakes course as front 9, and Mountain course as second nine. Beautiful views from every hole. Would love to see what it looks like in the fall. Layout wasn't very difficult, but did require some creativity as a first time visitor. Plenty of blind tee shots and many holes with either up or down elevation changes to make it fun. Can't wait to play again. Greens weren't fast at all, which allowed for very aggressive approach towards putting.
