About Stratton Mountain Resort
Although Stratton Mountain is a ski hub of 99 trails from the summit of southern Vermont's highest peak, summer brings the fun, too. A new bike mountain bike park has joined a lineup of summer activities including golf on a 27-hole championship course, the Cliff Drysdale Tennis program on New England’s only authentic red clay courts, hiking sections of the Long and Appalachian Trails, kayak tours, Kids Adventure Kamp and a series of events and live music. The Geoffrey Cornish-designed golf course hosted six LPGA Tour events.Facts

Nice course in a beautiful mountain setting
First time playing Stratton this year.I was pleasantly surprised by condition of course after reading recent reviews .While some bunkers were ground under repair this just goes to show that improvements are being made where needed.Fairways and tees were good and greens rolled true and were receptive from ample irrigation.I got a great deal fromgolf now. Bravo Stratton nice recovery from a brutal winter.
Beautiful Mountain course
I had the opportunity to play both the Forest and Mountain course. They are both absolutely beautiful and challenging. No one in front of us slowing us down and no one behind us rushing us along. The conditions were excellent, I am a golf course superintendent so from a management perspective I thought the course was superb. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great golfing experience. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Very scenic
The course had some some rough patches but otherwise a very scenic course.
Fairways in deplorable shape
Played the course a couple years back and was impressed so a group of us went back. WAS in really rough shape. Not even close to being worth $105 for the round. Felt ripped off. Would not recommend this course to anyone with the shape it is in. Avoid playing this course unless you get a heavily discounted rate. Might be worth $40-50 per round.
Punched greens
It would have been nice to know that all the greens were just aerated before we arrived.
Stratton
This course is made up of three nine hole course where you wind up playing two of them.
A great place to play golf will definitely return and hope to play the third course. Each course has its own personality and they are just beautiful.
Stratton golf
We loved it but it was super busy on the daywe played (8/25/14).
8 is a fun hole.
Excellent pricing from Golf Now
Thanks to Golf Now for allowing average golfers to play on great courses at a lower price. The courses in Vermont are in excellent condition
Excellent course
The course is in very good condition, beautiful location, very friendly staff. Good practice area
Great round of golf
The course was in great shape and we had a great day !
Bucket List Golf Course
This course should be on everyone's bucket list. You won't find any nicer greens anywhere. Spectacular views. The course was wet today do to storms the past 2 days but still one of the best courses I have ever played. With Golf Now's Hot Deal it made this course the best course for the money I have played. I have lived my entire life within an hours drive of this course and had never played it before. My bad.
Great views of the mountain.
I played Stratton with a friend who is a member there.
There are 3 nines, We started on Forest turning to Lake. 7/30 tee time, i was thinking 27. The course is lovely all bi it soaked . Standing water everywhere and super spongy. So be it . We went around the 9 holes in an hour and a half , got to the turn to see 3 groups waiting on the tee! What's up with that? The starter said "that's the way it is". We went back around on Forest. I drove @ and a half hours too play, I won't do it again.
Stratton Mountain
This was a real treat!! Golf course was in awesome condition, very friendly staff even with challenging weather conditions prior to teeing off... Weather cleared and we played on a very scenic and awesome conditioned course.. I plan on going back real soon!!!
Challenging course
Nice course divided into 3 different nines - mountain,
lakes & forest. Challenging, w/long par 4's. Very scenic. Played mountain & lakes courses.
Excellent day at Stratton Mountain
This course is amazingly beautiful !!! 3-9 hole course you can't go wrong.
Views were outstanding
The course was fun with fabulous views of the Mtn and lake. Par 5's are long and tight, there are elevated greens with multitiered surfaces. There is a restaurant and driving range. They have a monthly membership of $199 plus cart fee so book a room and play for a month. You just can't beat that deal.
Great Day!
What a bargain getting to golf at this beautiful course in VT at GolfNow prices. Hope to get to go back again. Lots of previous rain lead to soggy conditions and cart path only riding, but still course was in good shape for early season in the northeast.
Great views
Fun course beautiful layout look forward to going back
It rained nearly 2 inChes the night before
I played the course with my children. It was cart path only due to the rain the night before. We all had a great time
Very scenic course
During random times of play I looked up and saw Stratton Mountain right in front of me. It was beautiful. There were some nice lakes on the course as well, but no water hazards. The only thing I was disappointed about was the regular price for 18 holes. I don't think the course is worth $95 to play.
