Lakeview Golf Resort

6700 yards. Great play for the money. Greens were in great shape and rolling true and fast. Highly recommend this course if you’re in Morgantown!! Scenic views and tree lined fairways make for position golf

The Lakeview Resort and Golf Course was probably a wonderful course in it's day. Many things around the property look like they have lacked maintenance for years including portions of the course (sand traps that are mud puddles, cart paths full of pot holes, etc. The greens and tee boxes are in good shape and the course layout is fun.

It’s a shame the course doesn’t get the treatment it deserves. The layout is beautiful but the cart paths, tee boxes, and sand traps could use some serious TLC.

I wanted to like this course and the resort....but unfortunately both seem to be running low on money. The broken and potholed asphalt on the cart paths was mirrorred on the drive into the large sad resort, where the hallways lack air conditioning, the ice machines are broken, and an entire wing of rooms has been closed off in disrepair. The Mountainview course is built so that balls must be hit high on the hill before running down sideways. Sidehill lies are frequent, as are lost balls in unmanicured rough, and greens pockmarked by low lifes who don't care to repair deep ballmarks. Needs a $10 million transfusion. Play the Lakeview course if you decide to play here.

Don’t know if it’s true, I was a single hooked up with another single and he seemed to be a local. He told me the reason the course is always in rough shape is because the residents complain about sprinkler system noise. 🤔 the course layout out is awesome just needs some tender loving care.

The course is in good shape . They have made a lot of improvements since last year even adding new and to the bunkers .and fixing some of the cart paths

course was mountainous and they wanted cart path only on a windy dry day. The staff was friendly and nice.
