Reviews
Beautiful course
Course was great. Loved the challenge. Great layout.
Not great, but not many choices nearby.
This course is lazily maintained. It’s easy to lose a ball in the short rough or even the fairway. It was cart path only (not informed at check in). There was a high school match going on with parents riding in carts watching. They let a pair start on 10 which clogged the back nine at the turn.
In all fairness, there was one guy working his tail off to run the whole course and clubhouse. Needs some signs showing which way the next tee box is located. Confusing layout. $41 to ride 18 on a Thursday at 3:00 was affordable but you get what you pay for.
Very solid, slow pace
The course was in very solid shape and was quite challenging for my skill level! However, the slow pace of play made for a much longer round than I would prefer. Obviously, could just be a group or two driving the slow down. Will certainly play again.
Nice course
Overall very enjoyable round of golf. Greens seem pretty fast and in good shape. Fairways were really nice overall but some dead spots
$20 is $20
More brown than green. Hit a good drive and it rolls into a mud puddle. But can’t complain about a $20 green fee.
You get what you pay for but staff is friendly
We enjoy golfing mountainview because it's cheap for last minute tee times. But tee boxes are never maintained, greens were barely maintained and the geese issue is outrageous. The cart paths need repair so bad that with the recent rain the geese were drinking and bathing in the crater potholes along the cart paths.
The kids at the front desk are nice but that's the most positive part. $15 for 18 on some days we take the bad with the semi bad.
Course is in bad shape.
I’ve played Lakeview a handful of times over the last few years. It’s always been decent there. Last week was probably the worst conditions I’ve ever seen a course in. With that being said, we have been in a drought with high heat. Maybe wait for spring to try it again.
Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear about your recent experience. We will be sharing your comments with our team to address these issues and improve the course conditions.
I'm terrible shape
Course looks like no one has worked on it in years. The back 9 didn't have pins or cups on ANY of the greens.
We apologize for your experience and appreciate your feedback. We are committed to addressing these issues and improving the course conditions.
Going away
Our golf trip host had not been to this resort for 10 years and was appalled when he saw the 2 courses and hotel condition, In respect to him, I did not complain, but it was a declining resort at best. I will not return.
Waste of Property
I am really not trying to be rude or anything but it is truly sad what Lakeview has become. The cart guys and the gentleman in the pro shop were great but that’s about it. Course was in absolutely horrible shape, and there were marks all over every single green. It would be different if they didn’t charge above average for a tee time. Also, as we are on #9 green a foursome rolls up to 10 and tries to cut us off and we hadn’t seen these guys once before. The gentleman wearing roman sandals told us to “hurry up” when we asked to skip them. All in all, they charge as if it’s well run and managed when it’s far from that. I took some pictures of the bathroom at the turn the first time I went this year and will never go back inside. I uploaded two pictures of the disgusting bathroom. I wish someone who actually cared would buy this property.
