Best course I’ve played
We have played courses all over the country, including PGA, LPGA, and TPC courses. This is by far the most challenging and visually stunning course I’ve ever played. They have really turned the conditions of the course around as well. Summer of 2024, some fairways and greens were in tough shape, but everything is near perfect now.
Beautiful course! Extremely challenging
Well laid out mountain course. Beautiful with very fast greens. Will play again but only after some practice haha it’s extremely challenging!
Nice layout, some tight holes with challenging ones.
Nice scenic views, friendly staff, excellent course layout with multiple hazards to take in consideration. Definitely play again.
Spring 2026
Early spring, just before aerification - greens were lightening fast and rolled true. In two week grass will grow out and greens should be nice!

Great course. So peaceful and enjoyable
Great shape. Best staff
Wow what a property
Right from the minute you turn off the highway you know you’re somewhere special. I can only imagine how beautiful these courses are when the forest canopy is full. And absolute joy to play. Well manicured, receptive greens that were fast and true. Not know the course I could have benefitted from a blue/ white combo option on the scorecard. Found I left the driver in the bag with too much with short par of fours. Already been back on their website checking to see about a golf packages with friends
Great course….Terrible Pace
This is the second time that I’ve played at Glade Springs. Both the Woodhaven and Stonehaven courses are very well designed challenging and fun layouts. The pace of play though is so slow that it makes it difficult to want to go back and try the third course at the facility. Both times that I’ve played there. I’ve brought this up to the staff in the clubhouse and it is often overlooked. While I understand that it is a resort, the pace of play is a major problem here.
One of my favorites
They had the course in great shape after a hard storm last night. Greens were running very fast for April but rolled true. Excellent golf course
Great course
Real friendly nice course with real nice golf carts love the course layout
Excellent condition
Very nice course, excellent condition and staff very friendly. Only negative was a 3 some and a 2 some held up our 3 some Took over 4 1/2 hours to play and our group usually plays in 3 1/2 hours
Beautiful but hard course
The wife and I played this course while in the area. Staff was friendly and gave a few tips. There was no driving range, but had a net off to the side to hit balls into.
The course was nice, tee boxes had a few rough spots but nothing to bad. Fairways were never level, but very nice and greens rolled fast and good. This is a beautiful course with a difficult layout and course knowledge would really help.
Pace of play was horrible. 2:40 for front 9, so we went back at the turn and replayed it because no one was on it.
Big Course
Beautiful layout. Huge amount of area this one isn’t crowded in a small space. It is cut through the WV forest. Awesome course that I would play again
Spectacular scenery
Beautiful course
We played this course while visiting the area. It was a beautiful course and had a great layout. Conditions were great tee to green. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second round.
