Early extension leads to weak and inconsistent contact. To avoid it, Chris Como has a space creating drill that will allow your arms to stay in front of your body through impact.

Would be nice to see this in slow motion.
Are you tilting the front of the club where the back of the club is off the ground? In other words the bottom of the club is not flush on the ground
Hey Cindy,
I do use that shot especially when there is a lot of green to cover. I play it in the middle of my stance otherwise I tend to put backspin on the shot and that makes distance judging harder at least for me. Good tips otherwise.
This is some advice I needed to hear. One of the better videos on here. Thank you.
Great Tip Cindy , thank you
Will this be the same approach for my driver swing…. I tend to do it more with my driver swing and longer clubs like woods and hybrids.
a bit confusing but sort of get the concept
Not very clear . If you are staying or going down low towards the ball, it seems that you are not creating space but reducing space.
Too confusing. Not practical and easy
