Daily Video Tips

Which club do you prefer to use for short chips around the green and where do you position the ball in your stance for this shot.
Hello Tom, it depends on the green speed. If the greens are very fast, gap wedge or PW. If the greens are average or slower, PW or nine iron. My stance is very narrow and I play the ball in the middle of my narrow stance. Weight on my left foot.
where can I get the wobbly chipper club to help me practice this drill? Thanks
Hello Karen, you can get it here https://lagshotgolf.com/t/martin-chuck
What do you call the Noodle club you use in this video?
I’m using an Orange Whip wedge. I also like the Lagshot wedge. Thx

On well manicured fairway i hit a good chip, on tight fairway lie i tend to open club head or overhit. Any recommendations?
Victor, when things are tighter, you need this clip more. Precision is required, but you can’t be tense about it. Let the sole of the club brush the short grass at and after the ball. The ball will get in the way.
Thank you Martin!’ Very helpful. Richie H from Mike and Patty’s Boston Mass
Hey buddy!! Thx for the note.
I’d like to take a video of my full swing when the snow melts. Send it to you somehow and have you critique it. Every little bit helps. Thank you my friend!!
You bet, Coach! See you in a couple months :)
Hey guys,
That is the Orange Whip Wedge. You can find it on Amazon by searching the name. Also, Lag Shot Golf (lagshotgolf.com) has a similar product. Both work well.
I'd like to purchase a flexible wedge to practice. Do you have a brand recommendation?
I’m a big fan of the Lagshot wedge. Cheers
I have the same question - where can we buy that flexible wedge?
