Nathalie Sheehan teaches three set up changes to produce short, medium and long bunker shots. Try this out to reduce variability on bunker shots and help you save a few shots.

I didn’t see where you mentioned, whether you should be leaning to the left more or a neutral stand
Wow, Nathalie, this was the best tip ever!!! Same size swing, different set up for short, medium and long. Brilliant. I had 3 sandies today, and every shot out of the sand was solid. Thank you so much!!!

So where is the ball position for this shot ? Is the ball ahead of your lead foot ?
Seems like having the ball so much forward would make it easier to top the ball. Any thoughts?
Thanks Nathalie. Good tips. I have a question that nobody seems to address. What advice would you have for sand shots, where there is little to no sand in the trap? Thanks.
Could address the differences in sand. I'm fairly good with firmer sand but struggle with really soft sand.
Hey, I'm sure there's lots of ways to skin a cat, but my coach suggests using a less lofted wedge and usual or same set up to hit longer bunker shots. So, for shorties I use a 60 degree, medium 54 or 56 degree, and long ones, 50-52 degree.
Works for me !
Agree with Natalie's instructions, which are easy to understand and utilize. However, her demonstration was with ideal sand conditions.
What about different sand conditions? That can dramatically change how the shot is properly hit.
Good lesson. I try to 2 putt every green.. thank you
