John Montgomery
Do you have fits trying to control trajectory on pitch shots? John Montgomery teaches how a trail or lead arm focus leads to high and low trajectory shots respectively. Take it to the course to sharpen your short game immediately.

Great tip
Liked your tip.
Question: What is the ball position? And is it the same for high and shots?
Thx,
Joe Capellini
Mr Montgomery thank you for the suggestions but I have asked Golfpass instructors in the past in thus comment section that it would be nice in all the great tips you give by starting with what club one has in their hands> thank you
Hello John,
Thanks for this drill but some golfers are left-handed. Trail and lead arm could be better than right and left.
Excellent - one of the best tips I've seen on here!
I hear many people say you want low shots and let it roll. I prefer high shots with less loft. Thoughts ?
John, you briefly had me wondering if I was a time traveler or if I accidentally stumbled across an old video I had watched before.
I'm not the John from the video and I'm far from a pro, but I'll reply to your comment. I personally really like having the option (and ability after lots of practice) to be able to send my pitching wedge or approach wedge high or low depending on the lie. I think your strategy of high shots with less loft will probably serve you very well on nice courses with fluffy greenside lies, but playing the goat-tracks I do I'm often much better off hitting down and hitting low.
Hope it helps.
Thanks. Great thoughts.
