Know your shot shape and dial it in on the range with this drill from John Montgomery. Using intentional curve widens the fairway allowing you to get the ball in play more frequently.

You showed the set up and path well, but did not discuss how to hit the ball with the desired path. Please, please re-post with what is different in you actual swing, wrist action back foot placement, etc….
The only dfierence you noted between the two examples is the alignment stick position. How does this change the curve from slice to draw?
I have the same comment Michael F and Ken R have because I don't see how to change the flight path using the same body line and club line.
Also, can we ever see replies to comments from others since there's no use in many people asking the same question.
How do you hit a draw or a fade consistently?
Same question. “How” do you make the draw and fade happen?
I can’t hit one in a row.
i have the same question as the others. don't you need to have the face bit open or a bit closed to make it curve w with that setup?
I usually like your stuff, but this one is basically useless. I can hit fades and I can hit draws but dialing in consistent accuracy is the hard part and theres no info here for that.
Thanks for the questions. Quick clarification: this video is not about learning a draw or a fade on command. It is about turning your most common miss into a reliable shot shape through intentional practice.
If your miss is a slice, use the fade setup station and aim to start the ball left of the stick in front. Start line is driven mostly by clubface—about 80% at impact—so focus on a face that starts the ball left. Your swing is already a little out to in, which gives you the left-to-right curve. This drill simply gets the ball starting far enough left so it bends back toward the target.
tbh kind of seems like the coach is showing off. Sure, I know how to do a drill on left or right, but the question is how do you do the draw or fade? That would be much more useful.
