Daily Video Tips

Martin, nice video but I think I have an improvement. If you start your backswing on 1, then you are really only counting to 2 when you get to 3. So, I would add an “And” at the beginning. Also, to keep the timing the same on the downswing I count a full 1-2-3 at the same pace as for the backswing, with the idea of making contact on 1. So, the full count is “And-1-2-3-1-2-3, starting the backswing on “And”, ending the backswing on the first 3 and making contact on the second 1.
Yep, I agree with that.
With the spin shot where you want the ball to check, do you consciously hold off the finish to keep from rolling the club face?
If you want spin you need speed. And I would favor keeping the clubface open.
