I thought a "Texas wedge" was flipping the putter and using the toe?
I was taught that as a strategy for when off the green in higher grass or up against a cut.

Is there any issue with de-lofting the 56 degree club and playing it further back in your stance to accomplish the same goal? Rather than switching to a 52 degree or PW in your case. Thank you for your help.
