When I bend my knees on the down it makes me dig end. So I don't bend my lead knee. I hit the ball straight but loose distance. HELP!!!!!!!!
I regularly "top" the ball with my irons. I think I am standing up too quick. Any fixes or other characteristics to look at? Thanks.
Have a question. On the takeaway I’m standing an inch or so further from the ball and ulnarly flexing my wrists a bit more. This allows me to place the blade of the club flatter on the ground versus heel down. Any real problem doing this?
Martin,
Great tip and advice, as usual. Now, how about a drill for “leading with the hips” and keeping the arm extension through to the finish. On down the line video it appears that my hips aren’t moving as they should and I appear to lose arm extension. Thanks.
Martin,
Don’t mean to hog the comments here, but do you have a drill for keeping the trail foot engaged on the turf longer and avoiding getting up on the toe too early in the downswing. My all flight is actually pretty good but the trail foot/leg action on video drives me nuts!!
What are “wrist conditions”?
Great to see you back, Martin. Been a while since I've seen you on here and I've missed you. Your tips really resonate with me and I appreciate your style and pragmatic tips and drills.
MC great to see you back mate - love your tips. I find when I try and get more width in my backswing it can introduce sway. Any tips on how the keep this under control?
