Daily Video Tips
Really enjoyed this tip.
Martin:
Do you always hinge your wrists in these short pitch shots?
Related topic: Would like to see a lesson video on the same distance shot (+/-20 to 30 yards) that needs to carry over a bunker.
Thanks, Ken
Sorry if I missed it. What is your weight distribution on these short shots?
Thanks
Thank you Martin! This is exactly what I needed as I have been struggling with this very shot. Any tips off the hard desert ground here in Tucson??
Hi Martin,
Love your tips on ball striking! I asked previously about increasing trail side bend on the downswing and you brought up Koepka/Hovland’s trail elbow positioning. To get into that position, is it a combination move of external shoulder rotation with an ab crunch ?
Once again another great scoring tip!! Love the reference to the feet positioning!! You are spot on with that!!! Thx for the continued training and practice tips!!
Thomas, thanks so much for the kind words.
Do you use more of a putting movement
I called this a hand inspired body motion. I’m not rusty, but I certainly feel the weight of the club in my firm hands. Notice how my club works on a circle, not “down the line”
Hi Martin
Thank you - your instruction video have improoved my game.
What I am struggling with is the grip
Where the club fits in the left hand and how you reach the point where you can see three knuckles.
Do you have a previous video you could refer me to?
Barry, I’ve done more videos about the crib than fingers on my hands :-) you might want to check out my breaking 90 series. I spent a lot of time talking about that.
I hope this will be of value to me when I get to try it on the practice area or course. Great tips. Appreciate you taking the time to bring this to us.
Philip, thanks for the kind words.
