While putting do you watch the ball or the putter head?
Good Advise.
Hello Martin. The distance of the putt must be a function of the speed of the putter head hitting the ball, so the easiest way to achieve a consistency is to use the length of the back swing as a measure of that speed. But that necessarily means you need to develop the same repeatable tempo for each length of backswing...any tips on how to achieve a repeatable tempo?
Excellent presentation
My chipping has really improved since this lesson
Thanks
The set up for the driver to get more distance is very good and I will try it the next time I am on the range to see if it works for me. ⛳️😎
Helpful; easy to visualise.
This is a method I’ve used for the past few years. Spefically helpful around fast greens.
If you look at the slow mo, the back swing actually went back the same as through swing
Yeah. I saw that too. This is a good drill to not swing too far back. I try to limit my backswing to 40%, but it probably turns out to be ~ 50% - 50%, and that is good for me. I have a tendency on critical putts to go too far back, and then it is dicey on speed, direction and everything else. Good swing thought.
Ty for the tip. Keeps the swing tempo in pespective
great tip…will try it out next golf outing:) thank you
