Shaun Webb details how putting with a shorter backstroke causes positive acceleration through impact, leading to putts with topspin that stay on line longer.

I try to play the ball inside left heal (right handed) to get the same effect. I'll concentrate next practice on the shift and see if that helps. BTW...it would be REALLY helpful if GP would put some sort of indicator on VIDEO's WATCHED so I don't watch the same one multiple times. Easy technical issue I'd make if there was a general mailbox.
By the way, any chance you can trigger an email notification once someone replies? This would greatly improve the Golfpass end user experience.
I agree with Bob H. To me, simply moving the ball more forward at address makes more sense.
Shaun: I believe your AMG programs have described the myth of a longer putting through motion. Ball impact slows down the putter head. What am I missing?
Just put the ball further forward in your stance to get this same effect w/out all the folderol.
Hi Shawn. Nice video, however GolfPass is confusing us golfers. Just 3 videos before this one of yours they had Devan Bonebrake tell us in his video titled “ Backstroke Lag Putting Tip”, to not do what you are telling us to do. What to do, what to do!
