Scottie Scheffler Shuffle
Scottie Scheffler is winning so much that you may have thought, should I try out his funky footwork? Probably not the best idea to do it exactly, but the soft shoe shuffle that Martin Hall demonstrates here is a variation of it that could help you hit the ball farther.

Great lesson. Going to work on it now.
Thanks
I can't wait to try this drill. I have done the club in front of the body holding it cross armed. I feel this behind the back method will give a better feeling of maintaining that initial inclination.
I enjoy the tips! I find they are really helping me to improve my game! thank you.
Hey Martin! To clarify, is the foot really 'shuffling' forward or is that right foot movement the result of Scottie pushing off his back, right foot resulting in the weight shift from back for front?
Martin, I love your videos, always very informative and entertaining. However, please, please, please, show the data. You claimed at 1:43 that you get more distance doing the shuffle. Please show distance without using the shuffle, then distance using the shuffle. This will indicate to us viewers that you indeed have observable and measurable results. It also convinces us to give it a try.
Great tip, I’ve done so on and off for years. In addition to the ‘shuffle’ there is the Gary Player step forward.
Great tip!
Bunkers where I play are mostly dirt not sand what is the proper way to play this difficult shot
Thank you.
