Carolin Pinegger
Carolin Pinegger teaches the simplest chipping technique. It’s a great tool to have in your back pocket for when your short game touch goes sideways.

I know that folks construct a wedge matrix and it’s really helpful to dial in distances; do folks also construct a chipping matrix? (E.g. how far does my 8 iron go with a 7:00 backswing, an 8:00pm backswing, etc.) Is that a thing? Would that be helpful?
With this simple swing, can you still hit a higher chip if needed by changing the ball or hand positions or is it just for a running chip shot.
You don't show how to use that toe up, putting motion from the rough. That's because you can't use same technique in the ROUGH! You need some wrist hinge to get it out of the rough.
Do you swing toe-down on your pitch shots?

Carolin, this chipping technique has also eliminated the dreaded hosel shank that used to haunt me. I feel much more confident now as I approach the greenside lies. Thank you!
