Bryce Cope teaches an alignment-stick drill that helps you create width going back and move down and through after impact. It’s a great way to quiet the trail hand and improve contact on chip shots.

Great tip Bryce. Just wondering if the tip on the thumb hinge would help my full swing.. I take the club quickly to the inside have a club path on impact at about 7 degrees with a closed club face.
Hit irons on the bottom scoring lines and my chips show grass marks on the toe.
You often do not say what loft the club is you are demonstrating as in this video.
Making a hip turn along with the shoulder/arms is also key to this shot. Even when I do that correctly, if my eyes are not stay on the ball at club contact I can blow this shot. I'd say eyes on the ball is vital as well. Don't look ahead, watch the club hit the ball!
Bryce, usually love yer stuff but this one has : wide and outside-in written all over it = shank city
Bryce, do you have a drill for shots 60 to 70 yards out where I don’t dig the 54* into the ground behind the ball? When I do that, the ball never gets to the green.
Too many swing thought Bryce. I would have putted that shot. Go high your going to die, go low and get the ho’s as Matty boom boom the Golfsidekick would say.
I do have problems with my chips and pitching. Are there any other videos I can see?
