Tall Grass? Where'd that come from?
Played this course 30 yrs ago, liked it back then. Still like it but I don't recall having all this tall grass around the course that they have there now, makes it a tougher course to play if you're spraying it all over the place. Found more balls in it than I lost in it, just think it's a little annoying, looks good, but good luck finding YOUR ball in it. Other than that course is in great condition at this time, traps could use some work but seems like many courses are neglecting sandtraps lately letting them become weed/dirt traps. The crowned greens are a challenge to keep your approach shots on, scramblers paradise.
Some good, some bad
I've been playing this course for 35 years and this might have been the roughest shape I've ever seen it. The good: Greens, tee boxes and most fairways were in fine shape. The bad: A significant part of the course outside of the fairway has never been cut, leading to a lot of time looking for balls and penalty strokes. Some sand traps were horrible, some were decent. It was a frustrating day because of all of the areas that were neglected. We won't return until it's been taken care of.
Way to wet to be open
Course was flood they should have been closed instead of sending players out
Cow Pasture
Absolutely awful. Sticks and weeds everywhere. Not sure they have ever rolled the greens. Go to Deer Creek or University Park, could not imagine paying $35 for this course. Never again for me.
Course was in decent shape for a March round
Surprised when I got to the course and realized Golf Now charged me an additional fee for the cart plus their typical processing fee thus making the Golf Now savings disappear. Should have just booked it with the course. It may have been the courses first day open, but they should have put out at least one set of tee boxes, maybe the whites.
very nice cars for February
Pretty good course considering it’s February this course is beautiful in the summer
Got What I Paid For
I've played this course a few times and it is an enjoyable round. The greens and tee boxes were in decent shape considering the time of year. The round moved at a reasonable speed. The condition of the golf carts was a bit rough and the bathroom was down right awful. I could only imagine how bad the Ladies Restroom was. Not a bad round for $27 but this is surely not somewhere I would take a client.
Extremely rude
Went to this course on a holiday and it was extremely busy. Went in to check in my 11:50 tee time around 10:30 since I wanted to use the driving range, but range was closed and the guy checking me in was very irritated that I was there and asking to use that facility. The bartender was the only one there that was good to talk with. Also the inside of the clubhouse reeked with a dead mouse smell. Maybe if the guy at the clubhouse wasn’t so worried about playing the slots he could mow the fairways that haven’t had attention in weeks, or his greens with literal craters. Overall I regret spending my money here.
