Brentwood Golf Club

The course was fun, but there are some holes in the back nine that are weird — teeing off on golf mats, a fairway with a line of trees across it, and a big ole tree in the middle of the fairway that forces you to tee off around it.

The course was very wet. Greens were ok. The artificial tee boxes on 12 and 13 are awful. It’s ok in a pinch

I know it's ' that time of year ', but there were so many leaves on the back nine that I kept losing my ball, sometimes even on the fairway. Other than that, there is not much else the staff can do to improve play.

A bad day of golf is still better than a good day at work......

I don’t know how this course can have a 79.9 % approval rating most tee boxes were dirt except for a par 5 that had you hitting off of a mat I don’t know how you would use a tee

Tee boxes are right next to the green making it dangerous

This course is very poorly maintained

I don’t usually leave reviews but if you’re looking to play some quality golf this is not the course

Overall the course was playable.

Fairways could use some attention.

First time playing here. The fairways are kept in excellent shape. The greens are somewhere between really good and superb depending on the hole. The staff. Is friendly. The pace of play is good. Some of the tee boxes need some TLC, but that is the only complaint I could find. Expect to use mid and short irons quite a bit. Great course to work on irons play.

I’ve always loved playing here it’s worth the money and the staff is always courteous

Brentwood is a hidden gem. The course is in near perfect condition which is something at this time of year. The staff is always friendly. The course isn't excessively long which helps when your getting older.

Year over Year Course has improved a lot and is finally at a level where greens are ok for golf. Holes 11-13 are a huge issue due to existing environment, lots of money is needed. and nothing against course. Tree Removel to gain sunlight might be best opportunity to grow grass. 11)Fairway once you are within 100 yards, -no grass; 12) Tee box for par three is non existent or it’s turf; 13) Turf mats for a par 4, and fairway is still rough. Great job with rest of course to bring it up.

The front nine is wide open and highly forgiving—perfect for scoring low—while the back nine tightens up significantly with heavy tree lines that demand accurate iron play off the tees. Casual & Quick: With virtually no sand traps and a distinct lack of long par 4s and par 5s, the course favors a fast pace of play. A winding creek runs through the property to provide occasional hazards and strategic approaches. Unbeatable Value: The course consistently earns high marks from Northeast Ohio locals for its affordable greens fees and exceptionally friendly staff. However, advanced players might find the lack of length underwhelming, and course conditions (especially fairways and tee boxes) can occasionally suffer during high-traffic or dry spells.

Extremely player friendly course. The front is a great time to build confidence and create a low score. Because when you hit the back, dang it gets tight and tree centric! If you have the discipline to play the back with an iron, you’ll probably establish your new all time low. Tremendous price, history and they appreciate you being there. Now that’s a trifecta I can get behind.
