Great value, solid course
I read some reviews before playing here and I think people are overly critical. The course is generally pretty wide open with hazards being as avoidable as you want them to be. It’s hard to lose balls here and it makes for a fun playing experience for less experienced players such as myself. The tee boxes are in rough shape overall, but the fairways and the greens I found to be in solid condition. The grass was well maintained and there aren’t any bunkers.
It’s certainly not a TPC course, but if your goal is to go out and play an enjoyable round without breaking the bank, it’s a good choice. The scenery and ducks were cool too. I’d play here again!
Being the time of year and weather conditions this corse was in excellent shape. Only negative thing is that the greens had a lot of goose droppings that could have been removed prior. Overall I had a great experience and would suggest to anyone to play there.
Great Greens
The greens are in great shape. They run a little slow, but smooth and true (and golfers here actually fix their ballmarks!!). The course layout is enjoyable and varied. It’s flat with enough water and trees to provide some challenge. The fairways are a little chopped up, but playable, and the rough is a little thin, so you’ll be able to find your errant shots. The people are very friendly.
nice greens
day was great, course played nicely. challenging holes. Greens are nice.
Beautiful course!
Love going to this course. For the o ice you can't complain with 36 holes you could golf all day. Gets busy at times and sometimes your waiting to tee off for a few minutes. But undertandnle when a course is in that great of condition. Everyone wants to be there!
Awesome and awesome.
Course is awesome and in great shape. The staff is awesome too. You won’t regret playing here. You can rip it a few holes and few holes are narrow. The greens can be tough. I personally love that challenge. One of my fav golf courses to go too. Mallard kicks butt!
Nice lay out
Good course in spring but burns out as year goes on. Easy course to get out on and laid out nice, only complaint there are NO BALL WASHERS on entire course !!! Wet your towel in bucket at starter shack !!! 👎
Place was a mess
I get it it's only March,, but fixing huge animal damage holes in the green can be done any tine of year, The last few times I've played here it's been in poor shape, I'm done
Flat course without notable features
Flat course without challenging features. Grass was soggy from late fall/early winter rains. May be ok during dry season. Slope/drainage could be improved to help dry out course.
Just ok
I know it was late in the season but was not thrilled with the overall look and condition.
