Grey Hawk Golf Club
About
Grey Hawk Golf Club is a challenging but playable course that is a Cleveland area favorite. It brings resort-quality golf to a remote location in LaGrange that is seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The rolling landscape is the ideal terrain for links-style golf. The course demands accuracy with lightning fast greens surrounded by bunkers and be sure not to stray from the fairways or you'll almost definitely be left with an uneven lie. Unlike a typical links golf course, there are water hazards coming into play on several holes on this layout. The 11th hole features a tricky island green while the third hole has an equally challenging "island green" that is surrounded by sand. Grey Hawk Golf Club is a formidable but fair test with interesting and diverse hole designs.

Golfer Reviews
Great layout, super friendly staff, decent prices, nice carts and paths. The whole course is very well maintained.
amazing course
Amazing course Judy overall challenging but yet good for beginners as well some are more challenging then others traveled almost two hours to play here and it was well worth it. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well
Still a great course!
Tee boxes, fairways, greens all in great shape. It has been a hot dry summer and they are not wasting water on places where your ball shouldn't be.
Greens are super fast. It was a fun round!
Nice track
Very nice course conditions. Minus the cart paths, they are very rough.
Clubhouse, restaurant/bar are very nice with and awesome staff.
Great Course
This is truly and exceptional course. The greens are amazing and role very true. Probably the best roll in N. Ohio.

Grey Hawk in Lagrange, OH feels like a great local go-to for golfers who want a fun, thoughtfully designed round. The course itself blends natural features with sand and water in a way that keeps things interesting without feeling unfair. Conditions tend to look solid, and it’s the kind of layout that rewards good shot-making.
I also like that there’s more than just golf here—Grey Hawk’s clubhouse/restaurant (“The Nest”) has been getting love for good food, attentive service, and a relaxing atmosphere (including live music at times). Overall, it comes across as a well-run place where you can enjoy a strong round and then unwind afterward.
5 star class!
I played at 810 am today. I’m a disabled vet and enjoy playing diff courses in NE Ohio. They treated me beyond well. The golf shop pro deserves a medal. He’s awesome and hilarious. The course is in fantastic shape. Some greens are like putting on glass, but drive for show and putt for dough. I’m 45, I’m a bogey golfer. Legit I shot a 97 today. Try peeps in the golf carts connecting the hose to flatten the fairways and get the leftover grass and debris out was pure genius. That was so cool to see. This course takes a lot of pride into their organization. Can’t wait to come back. If possible, would love to be a member or buy a pass next year. ANY VETERAN and anyone come to this place. Thank you Grey Hawk Golf Club. The host at club house is fantastic. God bless! Go there. Don’t mess around. It’s the best!!

Great track!
This course is one of the best tracks in Northeast Ohio.
It’s in great shape, always challenging, and the staff is amazing!!! You’re missing out if you haven’t played here yet.
Decent course, rude staff, slow play
The course layout is fun and challenging. It was generally in pretty good shape, especially for being in the middle of one of the hottest stretches of the year so far. That was mostly overshadowed by the incredibly rude and unhelpful staff, which was literally everybody except for the girl working at the bar trying to take care of everybody by herself.
The pace of play was so egregiously slow, even though it was the day before a holiday and I understand it was going to be busy. The pace was just awful and there was nobody on the course doing anything about it even when something was said to the course about it.
It's not a course that I would drive to or pay the price tag to play again unless somebody I knew really wanted to play it. I'm glad that I played it, but there are a ton of courses in Northeast Ohio that have way better layouts and conditions for this price point. I personally probably will never be back
Great layout
Fun course , plays long from the tips. Layout is very interesting, has some very unique holes. Greens and tee boxes are in great shape. Hot weather recently has left a few dry / burnt out areas on the fairways and rough. Pace of play is very slow. Overall , you should definitely check it out. Outstanding value.
Great Layout
One of my favorite public courses on the west side of Cleveland. Nice variation of holes that present a variety of challenges. Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. Greens were firm and fast. Number 4 green looked like it had some distress, but putts rolled true. Course probably plays a little shorter than listed yardages as firm greens and closely cut fairways provide extra roll. A 6:50 tee time with only twosomes in front of made for an unusually quick round. Saved a few bucks with GolfNow hot deal, but still a good value at list price. Play here at least few times a year. Should play here more often!
Pretty Good!
Fun course, reasonably challenging. Bunkers were hard packed and the grounds are a bit rough in terms of ruts and terrain near the cart paths. Otherwise, a well-maintained course with good practice facilities. I enjoy playing this course a few times a year.
Some warn areas near greens where grass was dead, or bare dirt. Dry. Not in the usual shape seen at this course. Greens were OK, but a few had bare spots, lumpy, uneven roll.
