Wind Watch Golf & Country Club
About
Although it is located in Hauppauge on Long Island's North Shore, Wind Watch Golf Club possesses the look and feel of a destination course. Sprawling across a lush, rolling landscape covered with sparkling ponds, the course is as challenging as it is scenic. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes and there are more than 75 bunkers, some of which are massive in size, strategically placed throughout. Almost every hole presents golfers with a unique risk-reward opportunity. The golf course begins and ends at its highest point, which is one of the island's highest elevations. Wind Watch's closing hole provides a memorable finish as the only dogleg on the course. This par 4 takes a sharp left before climbing uphill to the triple-tiered green that is protected by three enormous traps.

Golfer Reviews
Resort style course
Easy access from the Long Island Expressway, driving and putting areas. good speed on the greens and manicured fairways. a bit of low lying areas where water can make soft conditions balls can plug or not roll out. But it you can get it for the right prices solid quality course.
Greens fair at best . Paid $122 for advanced tee time . If booked same day would have saved $30 bucks a head. Annoying to pay premium for advance reservation .
Great course
Golf course is in excellent shape. Greens are very fast. The staff is great.
Great Deal
Was able to play this amazing course on a crazy deal being a Golf Pass Member! 10/10
Had a 924 tee time and finished after 2 pm so it was a 5 + hour round. Our group waited close to 5 to 10 minutes each hole to tee off. The tee times were scheduled 7 minutes apart resulting in a congested course and a slow pace of play. Course was in great shape. However some of the pin placements were diabolical I had an uphill putt and if you go 1 feet past it it would roll back down making your second putt difficult.
Course was in good condition. However, the pace of play was slow. There was a gap of 7 minutes between each tee time and we pretty much waited 10 minutes at each hole waiting to tee off. At the end of it all it was over 5 hours
Dumpster Fire
Solid layout with some fun holes, but awful pace, closed putting green, closed driving range, closed grill, inexperienced staff. Beverage cart didn't take credit card because of card processing issues. The course put out a slow-moving youth event without blocking out additional tee times for how slow they moved. 5+ hours. Dropped a head cover that was never returned. F minus. This goes on my "never again" list.
Wind watch
Golf course was very good and everything went well. We enjoyed the round pretty good.
