About
Grantwood Golf Course is one of the best golf values in the greater Cleveland area. The course sits next to Timberlake Recreation Park, a scenic park with a large fishing lake and picnic areas that are perfect for outdoor gatherings. The layout features small, undulating greens that are protected by more than 40 strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on 10 holes in the form of a meandering creek and several ponds. The golf course is a challenging-but-fair test for players of all skill levels. Beginners and high handicappers won't be intimidated by long forced carries and won't have to worry about losing balls on every hole. Grantwood Golf Course sprawls across gently rolling terrain and the tees are in close proximity, making this a perfect layout for walking.

Rain out BS
We played 2 1/2 holes before the sky opened up with rain and lightning.
Corse would not grant us a rain check!said I had to go through GN.
However there is no clear path on just how to do that! Personally, I think it would’ve been much easier for the course just to grant a rain check knowing the situation and that way we could just book another teatime and go back and play
Nice Track - Band Sand Traps
Great course. Appreciate the new golf carts and the greens are in great shape. But my only ZONK and reason why it’s only a 3-star is because the sand traps are TERRIBLE.

Grantwood is a great value.
Tee boxes are average.
Fairways in excellent condition!
Greens in excellent condition! Appears 90% of golfers repair ball marks!
Greens were a little slow but with recent rains to be expected! However they rolled flat and true! Will play here again!

Course is in good shape except several bunkers wrecbery wet and the sand seemed very muddy.
Greens were true and quick.
Enjoyed the round
Been several years since playing Grantwood, but we will be back. Hopefully they fix all the sand traps, because they need attention.

Old School Charm
The course is nice with a fun mix of clubs needed off of tees. Played the tips with is about what blues are most everywhere else. It can get slow with elderly golfers at times but a good loop regardless.
Solid course for a great price
Course was in great condition. Some minor changes from last year to this year with a few annoying trees cut down. Staff is always solid and does their best to stay on top of pace of play as well. I’ll be coming back regularly to this course, especially if it handles drainage from rain well.

Grantwood
The course was in good shape for this early in the season. It was cart path only as there were many spots that were very wet for the storms that had just gone through Wednesday. Overall the course is pretty great and a fun track to play. I would recommend it to everyone. Good value and great shape for a public course.
Soggier and rougher than expected
It was generally fine-ish for early spring in NE Ohio. New carts +++ … Nonetheless - furry greens … no tee markers … fivesome ahead of me (played thru). Poor drainage seems normal here.
