Golfer Reviews
The good: friendly staff, not crowded, cheap price, excellent pace of play. Beautiful scenery. Not so good: tee boxes in terrible shape, many of them just dirt and crabgrass. Fairways were chewed up in places. Roughly a third of the greens had bare or beat up patches. While I enjoy the remoteness, the 13 miles of cart paths are not for everyone. If management can fix the greens and tee boxes it will be a much better experience
Prepare to lose golf balls
Very challenging course that is very spread out. Don't even think of walking it. There were numerous "bogs" with a jungle of shrubs that would eats golf balls. The fairways were narrow so if you hooked or sliced the shot, you most likely lost your ball.
the course itself is beautiful and there are incredible elevated holes and views. there were however numerous greens with damage from recent tornadoes and a hole I was looking forward to playing because of the elevation that became a sad par 3 where everyone teed off from the same spot. Overall though, a really nice place to play
Horrible Conditions
Brown patches on greens and fairways. Horrible tee boxes. Nice layout but course is not kept up. Damage on greens, tee boxes and fairways. No rangers and very slow pace of play.
Quite the Hole @16
Perfect! Overall great place. All the staff were so awesome! Will definitely go back.
Tee Box Issues
Played this course for the first time in 12 years, and sadly, the tee boxes were some of the worst I've ever seen. On top of that, some of the greens were dried out. I honestly cannot recommend this course at it's current state
Mountain Golf
The course was in fair condition, most tee boxes were under repair. Some interesting holes however the course was too spread out. It often too 3-4 minutes to get to the next tee box. The staff were very friendly.
Fun, Challenging Course
Played this course on 5/31/26. They are currently remodeling the clubhouse. New deck looks spectacular.
Going to be a real nice facility when completed. Course is in pretty good condition, however a few tee boxes need some help. Overall, a real fun and challenging course to play. Pace isn't the fastest, but a lot depends who you're behind. Would recommend giving it a try.
On the up!!
Course was purchase a few years ago. This year they are working on tee boxes, big effort be patient. Starter is a great guy manager Matt is positive and has a great attitude. I know driving hole to hole is a bit of an add on for the time but the vistas are amazing greens are in great shape course is really going in the right direction
Getting better
We played here last year. And the course was in terrible shape. One year later, big difference. They are expanding the clubhouse to include a restaurant and bar, golf simulators, enlarged pro shop, huge redo upstairs for banquet facilities. The course was in much better shape. The worst was the tee boxes that still need some work, but it appears they are working on them. A very challenging course where you need to place your shot o n many holes. Also new golf carts with gps which are nice
Lots of potential
We only played the front 9 and picked this because it was a good value $35 with cart. The course is apparently being renovated but you don’t really notice anything to say so on the course. Tee boxes are mostly dirt, greens are decent and the layout is pretty cool. This is a tight mountain course and it will test you. I’d try it again if they make some improvements.
HEADS UP! - Currently no clubhouse and no food or beverages are available… not even water BYOB
VERY nicec course
A lot of tight fairways and side-hill lies. Tee shots will run off fairways on several holes (I defy you to hold the fairway on 16). The greens are excellent, the fairways are mostly good (although there is a little residual damage from previous seasons. The tee boxes are mostly in rough shape, but several are under repair.
Course wanders through a community, but many holes feel isolated. Sure, there is a LONG drive between some tees (13 miles of cart path!), but who cares?
There are no stupid holes on this course (unlike many Poconos courses). Some really beautiful holes (e.g., 16, where you can't hold the fairway).
New beginnings
It’s early in the season so I didn’t expect great conditions. A lot of talk at the end of last season about changes to come. It appears at this point that the focus was on the clubhouse which is to open by the end of the month. As far as the course, tee boxes are below par, fairways are growing in, sand traps have been improved, greens recently aerated so need more growth, a lot of the overgrowth has been cut back. I enjoy this course and hope it will be successful.
