Triggs Memorial Golf Course

The course was in very good condition with the exception of the punched greens. Once those fill in, it’s gonna be even nicer and faster. I use to hate playing this course due to the pace of play but I’ll go back to play again now that the pace is down to 4hrs vs the 5+ hrs that it use to be.

Phenomenal greens but fast! Fun holes (that’s what she said)with a little room for error on a couple of them. Will be back for more!

This is a must play. decent space off the tee. challenging greens. beautiful rolling landscape and not one hole I didn't like.

This may be the best public course in RI!

Fair way, green, tee box everything was good condition

I thought the course was well maintained and in great shape. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I think an additional set of tees playing 6000-6100 yds would make the course a more enjoyable experience for the average golfer. The white tees at just under 6400 yds are too far for the average golfer and the Golds tees at 5500 too close. I would play this course again!

The greens were great today. The fairways were good also. The rough was long in spots and a little bare in other spots. Overall it was a good outing.

This course will challenge your golf game. It’s longer than most courses , the first 3 holes will test your driver, 380,400 &420 from the whites, not to mention the 4th hole par 3, 185 uphill. Not sure Donald Ross had envision the stressful challenge out of the gate!!! Yes, a must play on your list

Great greens and fairways. A Donald Ross gem. Kicks you in the teeth the 1st 4 holes then lots of birdie chances . Fun course to play.

My experience here time after time is it’s like rounding up the cattle!! They seem to over book the tee times every single time I’ve played here it took us 61/2 hrs to play 18 holes and the staff is very cold and very uninterested in making our visit anything but tense

Staff was extremely unfriendly. from the front desk not acknowledging us, to the starters literally screaming at us, to someone driving over to us To berate us for parking “too close to the grass” near the range. Groups were stacked up on each other the entire 18 holes, took over 5 hours to complete the round. $140+ should be much much better experience, especially since it is such a nice, storied course

We were late returning the carts. Everything was great, but we booked 9 holes at 5:50 and it was raining when we arrived. They let us start early and said due to the rain to return the carts by 7:30. The rain stopped early, and my dawg hit a 55 foot chip in out of the rough and we lost track of time. Besides that it was great. We will for sure be back.
