Great wind down after work
Played at 5:30 since it was so hot, and ended up really enjoying the course. There are a few surprises out there but mostly straight holes. Greens were in good shape. Found it interesting there are no 150yd markers so for some of the holes I didn't know where to play it.
7 Cart Group??? It happened.
Horrible!!!! At my afternoon tee time, I get to the tee box and see 7 carts around the green. Didn’t think for a minute they’d be playing in a group that size—I was wrong. Had to pass them on the par-3 second…wasn’t asked if I cared to play through, but already knew the group had no etiquette when one of the carts drove over the prior green. The cart I got could barely get moving because the battery was drained from a “tournament that morning”. I was told the cart was at 67% though I barely made it back after the fourth hole. Quit after that, what a waste of time!!! The greens were in great condition though—nice course for a quick round I’d imagine if my experience was out of the norm.
Fun!
Everyone there was so nice and even though it’s still winter time it was real fun!
