Riverbend Golf Complex
About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

Golfer Reviews
In good shape
Been over a year since I’ve played this course. This is the best condition I’ve seen it. Lots of workers around the course paying attention to the small details. Bunkers were raked and playable. Greens were rolling a little slower then Auburn/druids, and although they are very green and relatively flat, quiet a bit of ball marks were left unfixed on almost every hole. That’s not the courses fault, players need to do a better job of taking care of the greens so it can stay as good as it looks!
Had an early tee time so I didn’t get to utilize the driving range but it’s big and across the street. Practice putting green was nice and the sand chipping green was nice . Hope to get some more good days in September to golf here .
Fun and forgiving
We have played this course a couple of times and really enjoy it. Lots of opportunities to refine your game, but the course is pretty forgiving as well. We probably play here once a month and it’s always worth the trip.
Perfect day.
Course was in great shape, due to the Riverbend amateur tourney going on. Pace of play could have been a bit quicker . 4 hours, 45 minutes.
Great Course for casual players
Riverbend has just the right amount of challenge if you golf casually. Nice layout that is playable for all levels. Course is in great shape.
Narrow fairways, but nice course
Nice round, although it was very slow. The fairways are tidy, and narrow. Greens played good, course was in good shape. Nice practice facilities and food was good. Staff excellent, all in all this was a fun course with some challenges, mostly flat easy to walk.
Highly recommend the practice facility they had everything available. We rode, but if played again would walk. Although the weather was hot, and it was slow kind nice to ride
Great Condition, Great Course
The course is in great condition, and the staff were very good. I played 18 holes with a cart.
I would highly suggest this course.

Good Value
As far as munis go, this is a good option. It is not difficult, flat/walkable and in excellent condition. Can get a little backed up, so an early tee time is your best bet.
Great course but the tee times were so packed together at one point we had 3 groups on the same tee box.
Decent
I have played Riverbend more times than I care to admit. The current conditions are pretty poor. Tee boxes have numerous bare spots and are placed on sloped areas, making setting up for tee shots a little more difficult.
In addition to the tee boxes, numerous areas on the fairway have bare spots or unfixed divots. I have seen this course in much better condition, but as of late, it's not the best. I'd rather go play Auburn at the moment.
Hopefully something can be done to get it in better shape.
Bunkers need work!
Great weather day. Pretty fast play. 4 hours 5 minutes, in what turned out to be a 3 some after 9 holes. Need Bunkers attention. Hardly any sand in most if not all.
