They are way past from where they were 6 years ago.
Fairways excellent Bermuda turf grass. Thick and dark green. Cut just right. The rough was playable. Not as thick. But playable. Some course the Rough is not playable and tall Bermuda & thin. Eats golf ball’s. The green were excellent. It’s be a long time since I had greens that was in this great shape. They have busted their tails off with maintaining this corse at this level. Greens soft and fast. Corse over all very rewarding and forgiving and Challenging. This will be a course that you’ll add to your list.
A real test
This course has elevation changes, sloped fairways, undulating greens , and doglegs both ways. The greens rolled true and the fairways were thick and tight. There were a couple of tee boxes that needed some attention, but if you are teeing it up it won’t matter. Overall we had a great time, and the hot deal made the price easy on the wallet!
Pace of play
I love the course. It’s a great place to play. I really have no or nothing bad to say about the course at all. The only thing that keeps me from coming more is because they hold so many tournaments and you can’t get a decent tee time I have thought about joining the course several times, but the way I work I always end up playing behind some large group or some tournament. I wish they could figure out a way to accommodate everyone.
Fun layout
I enjoy the layout. There are some gimmicky holes but I enjoy them.
Cross Creek golf course
The course right now is an excellent shape for a municipal course. The staff is very friendly and accommodating fairways are an excellent shape. The greens are in very good shape. It’s a great place to play right now not too impressed with hole number 15. Not much advantage to the Tee shot but other than that I really enjoy playing there. I play at least 2 to 3 times a week.
Nice day at Cross Creek.
Courses in good condition and the pace was excellent.
Cross Creek
The course is in great shape. They are putting in new sprinklers so there’s a spot or 2 that’s a little rough but nothing big. This is an awesome course to play.
Love the layout
The course layout is great. Most of the greens are good and it's a value.
Course not in good shape
The tee boxes were nothing but dirt. The greens were some kind of weeds and patchy clump grass. With burnt spots on most greens. Not worth $47 to play there.
Cross Creek 4/24
Fairways were very good, tee boxes were in bad shape……can’t place a tee in the ground without a hammer……greens looked better than the last time I played there maybe a couple of weeks but still need work. There were no water coolers for water at the water stations.
Great golf course near my home town.
Cross Creek is an exceptional golf course that is better maintained than other golf courses near by. Great layout with the holes and design that plays well for the amateur golfer. The only negative issue which is a small percentage .…
Is the size of the greens with a lot of slope which creates issues with sticking the greens on approach shots. Maybe a little more thatch management and aerification.
The greens were better shape than several courses I have played this early spring. 90% positive score from my reviews.
NeedsRain
The course is so DRY it is almost unplayable. The fairway on hole 4 has zero grass and should be closed The greens were in good shape 3 weeks ago. NOT NOW ……. The course added sprinkle systems all over the course but they must not be using them.
