The Links at Redstone - Patriot Course

We played the Patriot course and it was in good shape. There was a foursome ahead of us for the front 9 and they were very slow and wouldn’t let us through. Luckily they only played 9, so the rest of the round was smooth sailing!

Front nine is tight, very much a throwback to old links golf down to the uneven fairways. Literally like a British fairway except bermuda. Back nine plays more traditional through the woods and finishes linsky again. Super awesome layout.

I used a driving iron to keep it in play on the front. Wayward shots are punishing. Back nine was more forgiving. Super fun place.

Conditions were awesome! They just sanded the greens which is normal maintenance so no complaints. Greens are a bit tricky with the breaks. Its a good time.

Only downside was there was ZERO water coolers out there on a 95 degree day which is unsat. Only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars. Seemed like the clubhouse didn’t know. I had water but not when i needed a refill. That was disappointing.

Ill be back without a doubt. Please PLEASE get water coolers out there. Easy thing to watch over.

First time on the Warrior course and I enjoyed it. I’ve played Patriot many times.

The Warrior course was closed due to aeration and top dressed. We played the Patriot and it was in good shape! The greens were 95% recovered from being aerated in weeks past and the rolled true.

Course was in great shape. Pace was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

These courses are always in relatively good shape and today was no exception!

I have played this course numerous times and I have never seen it as nice as it was yesterday.

Greens were amazing and fast.

Shot a 79 and could not be happier!!

As always-it was great playing this course! Fairways are lush and the greens roll well!
