This was an easy course, and enjoyable
The only thing I was disappointed in, was they do not have the holes marked with their numbers. It is easy to get a little lost. It was fall, and plenty of leaves. But they did a great job on keeping the leaves blown off the greens and the fairways.
Good course, but dont make evening plans
This course backed up my tee time 20 minutes and will pair you with any number of players to create foursomes regardless of player skill. They'll put a 10-handicap with a 65-handicap (and I'm not exaggerating). They do not care who they pair who with. I was paired with someone who was averaging double par if not worse. I had to leave after 15 holes since that took us 5+ hours and I had other things to do. Fun course, enjoy playing, but make sure you have all day if you play here unless you book a foursome yourself. I do like the new greens they have put in.
Great value course!
New greens look great! Friendly staff! Enjoyed the afternoon!
Course allows fivesomes
I was paired with another golfer, which we had a great time. I don't like this course pairs people up because sometimes you play with someone not even close to your skill level and it makes the round miserable. Fortunately that was not the case. However, there were 2 5-somes in front of my 2-some neither of which would let us play through and the golf course did nothing even when I called from the 4th hole saying, "We allow 5-somes we don't allow 6-somes." Will not be going back.
Also the greens were tore up and several false greens were made while they were redoing them. The false greens were like putting on carpet. You couldn't sink a putt if you tried.
Driving range with Golf Holes
Come play this course if you have 7 hours to kill….it’s like going to a driving range with a bunch of beginners with regulars mixed in…a lot of singles go off as well as two-somes that they don’t join together…no Marshall, so play as slow as you want cause ain’t no one gonna say anything about it….if you don’t know what a “handicap” is, then you tend to go off earlier to slow the pace of play….tank tops and backwards hats are encouraged!
First spring gilf
Played golf for the first time this spring. Played very bad but had a lot of fun. Cost $45 to play this course from golf now and the course is well kept but it’s not worth $45 to play. The pace of play sucks. A fivesome was allowed to tee off in front of our group for which the group were new to the game. I understand that the course is trying to make money but don’t a five group to tee off when the tee box is stacked with groups.
Fun Little Muni!
Bang for the buck, I thought it was a great deal. It's short but has some challenging tee shots, especially if you're playing from the tips. The shortest par 3 was 185 yards and the other 3 were over 200 yards. My only complaint is that the greens were a little hard, but overall, great course for the price.
Staff bumped me and my wife ahead of a 4-some and behind a 5-some and that wasn’t a problem we are not the best. The problem came when the 4-some almost hit us 3 times and no once yelled “Fore” or apologized they just laughed and continued to play like animals. As you watch the other player on the course it becomes apparent quickly it has zero marshaling and the staff doesn’t care as long as they get their money and sell lots of beer. Won’t be going back and don’t recommend playing unless you want to get in a fight or wear a hard hat the whole time you play!!
