About
The private Black Bear (previously known as Canterberry Golf Course) golf course is easily accessible from downtown Parker as well as downtown Denver. Its location in the Rocky Mountain region, amongst several ravines and arroyos, allows the golfer to view spectacular vistas of Pike's Peak and Long's Peak and it provides dramatic elevation changes for an interesting game. The links-style layout of the course features a large, four-acre lake that provides water hazards. There are also sand bunkers that come into play on some holes. Black Bear golf course also provides practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area as well as a golf school.

Fun course but lots of high rough !
Loved playing this course with my Invited Clubs benefits! Nice variety of holes , well maintained fairways , greens bunkers etc . Several forced carries to the greens ! If you hit your ball off the fairway there is plenty of high rough to swallow your ball ! This would not be a fun course for high handicappers IMHO!

ATTN ClubCorp Members - come and play at Black Bear! What a great experience! Everyone was very nice, the pace of play was very quick, the conditions were excellent and the layout of the course was a blast! Lots of elevated tees as you would expect for the area, but the holes are also well designed and fun. Bunkers ang greens were all in great shape. I played on a weekday evening when the weather was great and I can't fathom why the course wasn't packed with players. This is now my go-to ClubCorp course for the Denver area. Thank you for having me!
