About
Avon Fields Golf Course is one of the older golf courses in Cincinnati, where it sits on picturesque land that rolls along fairways lined with trees - and it's easily accessible to downtown. The golf course provides tests and good times for golfers at all levels, with elevated and diminutive greens for those who like to play short golf, as well as those who need more practice at it (for those who need more practice in general, the Jimmy Woods Learning Center is onsite).
Avon Fields Golf Course provides 18 holes of par-67 golf over 5,081 yards. Tee off on a par 4 that plays to 369 yards. The course is short compared with megacourses being built elsewhere nowadays: About a third of the holes come in at under 200 yards, even from the Blue tees, while only the fourth hole, the lone par-5 hole, stretches to over 400 yards from the Blue tees.
As the Avon Fields Golf Course is a municipal golf course, expect affordable green fees, and those who can swing a round of golf during the workweek can expect them to be even lower.

One of my favorites in the area. Course favors my stock yardage on most every hole. Beginner friend joined and played well also. Will definitely return
Fun course. Got soaked by sprinklers lol
Really fun course. Only bummer was that they turned all the sprinklers on for every hole. Forced you to get wet.
very enjoyable
We had a very enjoyable round, even the extreme heat. Course is great, hilly, lot of doglegs, small greens. The only problem was a group of four younger guys that were very slow. I know that at least 4 groups including ours skipped a hole to go around. They never offered to let anyone play through, even two singles.

First golf course ever played in the Cincinnati area. Short course, but very challenging with the hilly fairways and the angelated greens.
Good old school track
Been playing AF since I was a student at Xavier University 25 years ago. First time back in a few years and the course was in nice condition and we enjoyed the day!
Old Favorite
Played this course about 40 years ago when in college and glad to see it still delivers. Not a long course - no Par 5s - but hilly with great greens and thick rough. The layout is quirky which makes it a joy to play. Great muni course.
Just don’t play it
I have no words I just had the worst day of my life at this “golf course”
ABSOLUTE DOG TRACK SAVE YOUR MONEY.
I would have rather thrown 40$ off of a cliff or given 40$ to any other course in the entire world. Worst golf course I’ve ever played in my life, had a miserable day…. This is not a golf course. Save your money and go to the range. Horrible range as well on #9 you might get domed by a yellow range ball and start seeing a 240yd par 4 because they are all over this course. DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE I JUST HAD THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE.

Avon golf fields is fun
First time playing a round of 9 by myself. Pretty good course; Staff was very kind and helpful. Pace of play was a bit slow but there was a big group ahead of me. Course itself wasn’t terrible for the price. Layout was a bit confusing at some parts but overall nice course.
