Whitestone Golf Course

Greens were top dressed and fairways on 1 & 2 were being aerated. We went off of 10 and when we went around to make the turn the fairways were all mud and damaged from aeration. Charging full price when greens and fairways are not in good condition is crazy business practice when you NEED the public to come back. Don’t get me started on the tee boxes and bunkers. (Some were good, some were rocks and unplayable. )

I really love the course & their new updates have really been nice. I’ve just never been here & had a round take less than 5 hours. Always overbooked, I guess to make as much money as they can. A couple times we have gone & at the turn they’ll ask us if we would like to play the front 9 again because it’s so backed up.

All in all it’s a beautiful course, sadly I just have been playing at other courses all summer because of the pace of play & over crowding.

The fairways and greens were in good shape, but the sand traps were terrible. They are more like dirt and rock traps and should be declared "off limits." The worst part of the round on an extremely hot day was that there was not a single drop of drinking water on the back nine. No fountains. No big jugs. No garden hose. Nothing. On the front nine there is an ice/water dispenser after #4, but it had no cups. We played in the morning, so those cups must have never been stocked. This lack of water on a really hot day is not only stupid but dangerous.

Lived near course for 5yrs now. Was favorite course. Last two years course has gone drastically down hill. From wait times to service, it's bad bad. Today was the worst yet. The last few times it's taken 4.5-6hrs to play which is insanely bad as is due to overbooking/space of tee times but today was the worse of all. We only came back due to being close to home and just love the course layout. Took a duo 16 min a hole to play today due to waiting because it was so backed up. Then after 2 hours we finally got to hole 7 where we got our first and only cart girl. She made our drinks wrong. Told us to tell the bar at the turn and they would make it right. Get to turn and nobody is inside. Wait over ten minutes then someone goes to desk and tells us it will be a minute. We leave and go to hole ten. Keep in mind, it's a 100 degrees outside. No cart girl rest of course. Ranger driving around not correcting pace of play. Can't stay warm playing as we wait to tee off at least ten min a hole. This place is trash now. Only worries about getting in as many as they can. I play once a week and I will not come here again the rest of summer. I'll go to azle, pecan or even drive to squaw valley as they know how to treat the players. I've lived in 3 states including AZ and this is the worst service and management I've ever experienced.

I’ve been here 5-6 times and it’s always in good condition. Only 1 green had some type of grass fungus. Good amenities and friendly staff. You normally get paired up since they stay booked.

We got there a day after a pretty nasty storm. They did a good job of cleaning up. Carry path only and the traps were wrecked due to the rain. The greens were in good shape and fast. Fairways were in good shape as well. I like the course layout. Par 3’s are short but fun.

One is the better courses in my area. The course is always in great shape. Very friendly staff.

Love this course, but seems to be going downhill. Course conditions are good and love the layout, but pace of play on weekends is painfully slow. You need 5 or six hours to actually finish a round. Not going to play here again until they change how they book tee times or have the marshall actively moving along pace of play.

Well worth the weekday price of $60. Course was in great shape outside of some rough patches on a couple greens and a few GUR spots and one eroded bunker, but they were easy to overlook because the rest of the course was in great shape. You can really tell that they are working hard to improve the overall playing experience and so far, so good.

Fairways and Tee boxes in great shape, it looks like they are working the greens to make them better, cannot wait to see that.

Most of The greens have been redone but they will take a while to become good. #7 is a minefield with literal chunks missing-wth?? Used to be best greens in FW. Not sure what’s happened. Bunkers are still rough filled with mostly dirt. Get some sand please! So much potential and such a fall from where it used to be!

The changes that were made is beautiful. It’s open and even more lovely. Keep up every thing that you are doing.

Course was a great track. Cart girl Mia was out standing. Will definitely come back. Thanks
